Scooter's Coffee, Clear Lake IA

Staying in Clear Lake Iowa after visiting the Surf Ballroom and the Buddy Holly crash site. Found this coffee shop near our hotel. Maddie was working the window and she has greet customer skills. Nice polite and just friendly. Would recommend this shop to the locals and those of us just visiting the area. Thanks again for great service.

I stopped at Scooters tonight but I didn't know what to order so I told the worker to choose something and she nailed it. She should get a raise. $0.50 raise sounds fair for such a good employee right?

Worst customer service of my life.

Product made here by the inexperienced associates is of the very lowest of quality.

Associates have long hair dangling in drinks. Associates where Carhartt stocking hats, holy jeans, and tube tops.

Still awaiting a contact from district or regional manager, not the store manager. Also have contacted corporate. If a response is not received I will help scooters fail as a company.

Always love my scooters rarely have an order taste bad. If I had one closer to my town, you best believe I'd be there everyday

I just visited this location and it is kind of difficult to get to. There is a pharmacy drive through right next to it and if there are people on that drive through it can completely block the only way into the Scooters parking lot. But we got into the drive through line and when I ordered my large latte it was room temp, I ordered it hot. So I went back asking for them to remake it and they did but it was SCALDING hot. Completely undrinkable and my mouth is definitely burned beyond tasting anything for a few days now. Plus they gave me a large cup but only filled it half way. I honestly feel ripped off and will never be returning to this location again.

I recently visited Scooters for the 1st time and ordered 2 drinks, a nitro and a black and white nitro. They were approx $6/drink. For that price I expect near perfection. The drinks were far from that. They were both 1/2 foam. I ask the cashier if this is what they normally look like. She basically just shrugged. I contacted Scooters cooperate and have yet to hear from the store my order came from.
My next stop for coffee will be at a place that is worth the price and is focused on customer service.

Stopped Friday morning, June 2, on my way through to MC. Got what I usually get in Ft Dodge, a turtle blender and bacon burrito. I took maybe 3 bites out of that burrito and threw it away, it tasted horrible! Never had that problem at Ft Dodge location. Started feeling sick a bit later, ended up ill all weekend and that was the only thing I had to eat Friday. I called the store Saturday, no answer, knowing full well they are open as I drove by, but had to leave a message. That message said they don't take orders over the phone, fine wasnt planning on it, but to leave a message and they'd get back to you in up to 72 hours. It's been over 72 hours and I haven't heard a word. Not to mention, there was like 6 ppl stuffed in a small hole and every one of them looked very unhappy. Will not ever go back to that location.

Traveling thru Iowa. Had never been to Scooter's. Really good coffee drinks. Very nice barista. Gave our pup a pupcup. She had never had one. Think she liked it.:) :)

I used to love going to scooters. I’ve gotten most of their drinks. However, within the last year or so, I had to stop going because the new manager is just rude. I’ve always been kind and patient and tipped well. And she’s always snippy and makes comments like she’s annoyed. They discontinued Redbull as well; one of my favorite drinks there. I do like their flavored coffees and the hot drinks, but I won’t be visiting this location anymore because of the manager: (

The drive through lady must have been in a hurry cause she was very rude by rushing me through

Purchased a blueberry muffin for my son, he began gagging on it and spitting it out. There were shards of wood in it, I'm assuming a toothpick but I don't know. Contacted customer service and they said the store manager would be in contact with me.no response from anyone. This is very dangerous and concerning that no one cares, a smaller child could have been seriously injured.

Jill was very rude to me and all I wanted was a coffee and a cookie. I didn’t like how she was with her coworkers either.
