My car slipped something on the interstate and i took it to a transmission place only to be told they couldnt find anything wrong and asked if i wanted to have it checked out by scotts, we never did find out what happened to the car but it works now

After a very negative experience there recently, I will not be taking my car back for any work. My last repairs there has been nothing but a huge headache, trying to get them to take accountability for their work and mistakes in scheduling a follow up.

I had been going there regularly to service a car that I bought in December and after my last experience, I'm realizing that the quality of their work is highly questionable. After having spent over $2200 installing 8 fuel Injectors, a few weeks later, the check engine light came on (rough idle, multiple/random misfires) and the car went into limp mode.

I spoke with the owner in person and after assuring me that he'd  "take care of it, " I'm still waiting to hear back from him.   He asked me to give him a few days and that he'd get back to me.   It's been a week, and after leaving 2 voice messages, I still have not heard back.

I hope my experience serves as a warning and precaution to anyone considering taking their vehicle here for repair.   Public records show that they've been sued multiple times.   You're better off going elsewhere.

Scott's Automotive has done it again. I described my situation, battery leakage that may possibly have gotten into line, a grind when pulled out of driveway, and a clicking in my dash. I received an estimate within hours of dropping my vehicle off and it was ready by the next afternoon with ALL issues resolved. I was even able to get a spare car key made right there on site. I recommend Scott's Automotive to anyone looking for quality work, great prices, and fabulous customer service!

I took two used cars to them for inspections while searching for a new car and they did a good job being honest and thorough. Especially since both times I was over 20 minutes late and they were kind and understanding about the situations.

It is likely due to me being late, causing them to rush, but they did miss the coolant being low on one vehicle's reservoir. I'd still take vehicles to them though.

They are always friendly and easy to work with. Doesnt take them long to change oil. Bathroom and place in general is always clean and kept up. They have beverages while you are waiting. I've recommended to family members and would recommend if ppl asked for a good place for service.

I always find courteous, knowledgeable and honest people at Scott's. They always respond to my messages or concerns, and never let me down. It's a great feeling to have somebody you trust with your car maintenance and repair. The best word to describe it is: Peace of mind. Thank you for being in business you guys.

Once again did a great job of repairing my vehicle. Have came to trust Scott's just what needs done and at a reasonable price.

Fair & honest people. They have been in business a long time and I have been going to them for years. They are so reliable that at the moment I am not sure they are taking new appointments since their back parking lot is full.

Had them replace my engine in 2021 (with a used one) and new clutch. Was told by the mechanic at the time they probably should of replaced the head gasket before they installed it. Had the car back into them 2-3 times with issues, one of the times with in the first month, I was told nothing was wrong. I paid for a 2nd one of their Dianostic checks was told nothing was wrong again even though it was losing and consuming oil, turns out it was in fact a leaking head gasket at which they quoted me over 3k to fix when the original engine install and clutch were 2600 total. I also would take issue with the fact they didn't replace the main seal (also appears to be leaky) which is pretty much a standard with the services originally preformed.

Took it to Wilson Repair in Nevada was quoted around 1k to repair the job they should of done right the first time.

Had shifter issues and needed towed. Great communication. I was told upfront after diagnosis what it would cost… no surprises. Treated my vehicle like it was theirs and that’s why I trust them. Professional repair. Thanks Jason.

This is a very great place to have your vehicle serviced! I made a list of things I could think of that needed fixed and they did a excellent job and plus they found problems that I forgot to put on the list and took care of them! They are very honest and I plan on using them again them in the future for a long time I hope!

Work completed on time. Friendly and thorough explanation of services performed. A pleasant experience for me.

6-7-2023 Scott's replaced the AC rear evaporator core on my 2015 Acadia Denali. It now puts out enough cold air to drive you out unless you turn it down. Very happy with the work done and had it back the same day. I have utilized Scotts's repair and maintenance service on several of my vehicles over the years and have been very satisfied with results. Stop in and see Jason or Scott with any of your vehicle needs, I highly recommend Scott's Auto Sevice!

They found out the issue and didn't push to solve any of the other 100 smaller issues. We had a limited budget to repair our secondary vehicle, but they got the job done quickly and communicated with us the entire way. Very old school shop. We got in, they got the job done, and I drove out happily. Will definitely back to have them fix one of the other 100 smaller issues.
