Beautiful memorial to a great moment in the fight to end slavery. There’s a small, circular wall that surrounds the sculpture which briefly summarizes the story. The hill it sits on is a great spot to watch the sun set over the city and enjoy the fall weather (and sometimes deer).

This is a heartfelt contribution to the people's kindness, and the beginning of freedom in Dr's Moines. Beyond the historical facts is a beautiful view of Dr's Moines in all of it's glory.
