Skip A Way Campground & Resort, Clermont IA

I am one that needs a shower daily and when I saw how clean the shower house was at skip-a-way, I was so happy. You can tell the owners really care about the property as they take amazing care. The other thing that is important is a stocked camp store as I always forget something. I love their camp store! Great place!

Our kids had a great time on the playground. The hot water in the showers was plentiful as well. There were undoubtedly many more things to do, such as spending time at the spotless beach. This campground has everything we could possibly need, which is great! A good location for camping.

This campground is beautiful and in a great resort. Everything is quiet and well-maintained. The other campers were hospitable and kind. The beach is quite clean. We reserved it for a couple more weekends because we had such a fantastic time there.

In this fun filled, family-oriented location, there is a lot to do. A good place to go camping is with Skip-A-Way. You get everything you need to go camping with it. Excellent, tranquil, clean and most importantly SAFE campground.

We can see that our camper had been thoroughly cleaned and was fully stocked with everything we would need. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some of the best food I've ever had was at the local restaurant. We will certainly come back.

There was a lot of amusement and fun things to do here. The beach was just clean and amazing. They even had a beverage cart that delivered fresh and tasty drinks rolling throughout the campground! All the campers were welcoming and friendly.

We are starting off another Summer here at Skip-A-Way Campgrounds! We keep coming back because it has always been a great experience and I daresay it will continue to always be! The camper was loaded and in good condition. The staff was really welcoming. They came by to make sure everything was okay.

You will quickly realize the moment you enter these campgrounds that they are very well looked after. There are plenty of activities for all ages to do. There are also very few bugs and mosquitos to bother you. The main building has great, satisfying showers. All in all, Skip A Way is a wonderful, welcoming location.

At Skip A Way, there is a magnificent restaurant that is surrounded by biking routes. The nearby town also had restaurants and bars for you to patronize. The people who maintain the RV park and campgrounds are very kind and accommodating to your needs.

I enjoyed myself a lot. I've been wanting to visit this place for a few years now. Dreams of boating on the tranquil lake have become a reality and is certainly a change to being away from my office. It's a top-notch campground that you will enjoy.

For tent campers, this place was made for you! We picked this location because they provide a shuttle service to transport our canoe or kayak up the Turkey River so we could float back down to camp. It was a very great place to stay all around. We had a great time and will do this again next Summer as well!

Everything was wonderful, even the golf course, which was more enjoyable than I had anticipated. Because they are old enough to play by themselves, the kids would play mini golf all day, which is fine with me because we can spend our much-needed relaxing time on the beach.

There are several activities available for people of all ages, including mini golf, fishing, shuffleboard, swimming, and gigantic slides. There is usually something happening, including BBQ cook-offs, selected vendor events, live music performances, bean bag tosses, and just so much more.

This is a remarkable campground The people here keep it incredibly nice. You can see how well kept the campground is.was wonderful! They also have a most excellent RV Park with the majority of spaces fully hooked up.

I've been camping here ever since my parents first brought me with them as a child and now my own children do so as well. There are just so many family-friendly activities at Skip-A-Way!

The options are there for all to enjoy! Everything from Putt-putt golf to a lake for swimming and kayaking access. Additionally there is a RV site with canoeing, and tubing down the Turkey River. There is also a nice and clean beach for the lake with not only astonishing views but you can fish there as well.

During the busiest summer and holiday seasons, the campground may be more packed than it usually is, so I strongly encourage you to arrive early. Mind you, this is a great location and an extremely serene campsite so they do get a lot of visitors! They allowed us to park our vehicle trailers as well since they were being towed.
