A local secret gem. The view of the grand River valley below is stunning and lots of amenities for a county park.

Fine for a night, but lots of driving to end up back next to the freeway. Not a fan of bright streetlights in my campgrounds.

Lovely small campground and lake. Quiet and relaxing. Lots of shade. Only downside would be the need to visit the rest stop on I-35 to dump after your visit.

I have been going here since I was a toddler, almost 40 years ago, now I take my kids often. We love it! It's so peaceful

Clean and level campsites, friendly staff, cant comment on noise of camp sites since we were only ones here. 5 mile dirt road wasn't too bad just take your time and stay away from some soft shoulders of the road. No water hookups for the camper but had 30 amp service for electric. Would stay again in the future.

I really love the opportunity to take a short walk, let the dog excercise while we stretch legs on travel break. Peaceful & quiet.

Beautiful park with access to the rest area. I was able to get my furbaby out for a walk and stretch our legs after driving all day.

Excellent, budget friendly facility. Easy to navigate loop-back hiking trails, very accessible for tiny people and novice hikers. Excellent gazebo's & fire rings, and small private feeling tent camping sites.
