Spencer Nails

Love the quality of service. Pretty expensive. I got an acrylic nail fill and basic pedicure and it was nearly $100. I’m not sure I can afford to go back.

Terrible place, my grandmother went in for a pedicure and she got half the things for full price due to the guy being lazy.she wanted white nail polish and he told her no because “it takes to long to dry” and then wouldn’t get the skin off her feet because “they don’t do that” even though she has had it done everytime she goes in their and has had it done by him before.he cut her toes while cutting her nails and it was just overall horrible.dude needs to find a new job

It was me and my buddy's 1st mani/pedi. Everyone there was so nice and friendly. Definitely gunna go again. 5 stars.

This has been my go-to nail salon for the past 2+ years for all my acrylic sets. They have done nothing less than a great job every time. I always walk away very satisfied. They are very friendly, accommodating and talented at their job. I highly recommend!

The new owners are so disrespectful and they talk badly about the people that use to work there I will never go again they are rude

The guy owner is so rude and stuck up just because he knows it’s only two no salons in Spencer, so he act like he don’t care. I have cuts on my hands and he still didn’t care told me to leave and never come back.

Since the change in ownership, Spencer Nails has gone completely downhill. Prices are outrageous, not to mention deceptive. They say one thing on the sheet/wall, but when you go to pay, all of a sudden a ton of added things are on your bill. Went in for a pedicure. $45 was the price on the sheet, asked for no gel. Went to pay, it was $55. I asked why and was told because they had to take my gel polish off. Um, nevermind that I had my last pedicure done there (which was another bad experience, but was a gift to me from someone) and no where does it mention an extra charge for that. It should be included as part of the pedicure, it always has been before. This is not the first time something like this has happened. I will not be going back.

First two times I went were great. Today I had an appointment for 2pm. We drive the half hour over here and they tell me they can't see me can I come back at 4. No I had an appointment for 2. I can not leave go home and drive all the way back later. How about don't make appointments if you can't keep them. Will not return.

Two stars is being generous. Got my toes nicked 4 times during my pedicure. My daughter was to get a manicure and they never did do it even though she sat there for two hours. I will not be going back

Had a great experience at this shop today. Very courteous and detailed. Will definitely go back as there are new owners.

I am 100% DISSATISFIED with my nail service today at Spencer Nails. I've been getting dipped nails for a little over 10 months now from various salons in Iowa & have always been very pleased with the results. NOT TODAY, THOUGH. I wanted my old color removed, new color added & to have my nails cut square- shaped & short. As the male nail tech was performing these services, I noticed that products were being sloppily applied & he chose to file my nails instead of cutting them, but figured it would all be fine in the end. WRONG. As I was washing my hands after the manicure, I noticed that there was A LOT of nail color residue on the sides of my nails, the nail length was uneven, the edges of my nails were sharp & there were several nails MISSING color along the sides. I pointed the issues out & the same tech started to REDO MOST OF MY NAILS, BUT DIDN'T FULLY REMOVE THE 1ST ATTEMPT. Needless to say, the 2nd attempt was WORSE than the first one. I have NEVER had such disappointing results before. The cashier asked me if I was happy with my nails & I said NO. He asked if I would come back so they could fix it and I said that I was never coming back there again. He seemed unsure what to do & I was just OVER IT at that point. Yes, I paid for the service (technically he did 2 services), but my nails look terrible. If I could give NO STARS, I would have.

My daughter and I had a great experience! My nails are exactly how I wanted them are are absolutely beautiful. Ann did a design on them and made them perfect. Everyone was very patient with my daughter. Would definitely recommend Spencer Nails to everyone!

Unfortunately, I am 100% disappointed in the service I received. I didn’t receive the service that I paid for. I went in for a spa pedicure because it includes callus removal. My feet still have calluses on them and part of the service inclusions weren’t even performed. I received a basic pedicure at the spa pedicure price which wasn’t even really packaged at the level of a $45 pedicure. The tech was very rough with my toenails, and I left bleeding around the nail on both of my big toes. Adding Shellac was charged at $20 extra, which is fine but a little on the pricey side. There was no message component to the work done on my feet, just rubbing lotion on my legs. I actually left feeling like my feet were more dried out and in worse shape than when I went in. Don’t make the same mistake I did, save your money and go somewhere with better service.

My daughter and I had a dip manicure and we both had cuts on our fingers afterwards. 5 of my nails were cut and 2 days later they still hurt. He was pretty rough with filing and got polish on my fingers which he tried to get off by peeling with one of his tools. This resulted in tears on my skin. I will never go back here! I asked for shorter rounded nails and they are very pointed. My daughter asked for the same and hers were squared off with sharp edges. Why don’t they listen to what you want? They were very friendly but that’s the only positive thing. Very expensive and there was no discount for paying cash even though their sign said so. I do not recommend going here.
