7Great campground. Scenic well kept park with some great CCC structures. We hiked the lake trail with young children. Well worth the short drive from DSM
Springbrook is some were were me and the family going enjoy going it's so fun you get away from the house and you have something to do all the time you can go fish it's just awesome because you have a really fun time the kids can go over to the playgrounds
Took my kids and my 14 year old dog here for a little exploring. We had so much fun! My dog fell in the lake and when he got out he was acting like a pup again. It was so good to see him run around like he did.
Pretty Park. Sites tend to be close together. Camp store closed (for good I was told), although, website still mentions it’s availability and signs in park still direct you to it. Shower house (near camp store building) was showing its age and was not particularly clean. Price was reasonable.
Love this state park! Spacious RV sites and well maintained. Never had any issues with electricity. Been going here for years and will continue to do so.
Restrooms were nasty they were not clean there were cobwebs all over the place I would not take a shower in that place I don't know why but there were many many many flies
Cabin rental was a awesome place to stay plenty of room good service prompt snow removal
