Stanton Optical, Davenport IA

Called to see if Store was open so I could pick up my glasses. Was told yes open until 6pm. I drove all the way to the store to find it is closed today and their parking lot had not been plowed. Sat stuck in parking lot for hours. Terrible business.

Didn’t seem to have their act together. Finally got serviced and filled out stuff on an iPad. Waited and waited. Finally, after being here an hour I asked how long it would be, and was told may be up to another 45 minutes. This is before dealing with any glasses. Told them I would reschedule or go somewhere else. I don’t think I want to give them my business when having to spend over two hours to get through this process. I actually think that while I was waiting, looking at some glasses for them to get me my eye exam, they actually took somebody that came in the door after me. No communication just to let you know this is how long it’s taking or any communication like that.

First off, Danielle was absolutely amazing and so kind! I had lost a lens and the hubby needed his straightened. She greeted us right away and fixed our glasses in less than 20 minutes!
We have had nothing but great customer service and quality products with Stanton- would highly recommend to anyone!

Nichoel and Danielle I apologize if I didn’t spell names right) made my experience so smooth and easy! I had a great time and they both were patient and professional in how they handled things. The exam went well and they were patient with my anxiety. My nerves are eased and I already have two people interested in coming in. 10/10 thanks for being awesome keep up the great work!

This was my first time at Stanton Optical located in Davenport, IA. Michelle and Kelsey were very friendly and helpful. I had an eye exam which was done mostly virtually then purchased a pair of regular glasses and a pair of sunglasses. I would recommend Stanton Optical!

They were kind and polite from beginning to end all staff were attentive and helpful with each other. Pleasant experience. Michelle did her best to match my daughters glasses with my personal requests well! I would recommend this location.

Had a great experience. Kelsey was able to help me on multiple visits to get and properly adjust my glasses. Ended up being a lot more affordable than I expected as well.

Danielle, at the Kimberly Rd. & Brady st.store in Davenport, IA was very helpful and made the whole experience very pleasing and easy. We will go back there from now on for all of our eyesight needs.

Excellent service with Michelle and Danielle. Had a slight emergency, they got me in same day and out in less than an hour with a new script and contacts! Will absolutely be back!

TL;DR Go somewhere else unless you really need a same day app. Even then, I still don't trust my prescription now after reading all other reviews so just going to wait in line at another establishment.

Called what I believed to be the actual establishment 3 TIMES to verify any additional information I should be aware of regarding out of state insurance before arriving. Call center said "you have to go in to find out if they take it or not. " Did not mention "typical out of state copay".

After arriving, they said it would be a $25 copay for out of state.
Spoke to both associate and associates superior regarding the issue.

Associate was fine.

Reiterated to both I had no problem with paying but wanted to be notified because I was not prepared after driving from the other side of Rock Island to get to the edge of Davenport.

Explained to establishment manager that I wanted to put in a comment to the call center to add this to their information.

Est manager was rude, said it is typical there is a $25 charge for out of state, spoke over me and did not allow me to calmly express my request to improve call center quality.

I had to ask her to please let me express my concerns regarding this and she did allow me to finally after having to stand my ground.

I reiterated if it's typical, the call center should have noted that to me after speaking to them three times.

The rest of the visit was tense and awkward but I needed my prescription so I dealt with it.

First time doing business with Stanton. There was an issue with a pair of my Ray Bans, however Danielle and Jennifer were quick to resolve it, and did me a huge solid. I will definitely be getting all of my future eyeglass needs from Stanton and this location! God Bless!

The ladies at Staton Optical are amazing. They were so nice to my daughter, and extremely helpful! Will definitely be going back

The store manger Danelle and consultant Michelle went above and beyond. They were very helpful and addressed our needs and care promptly I would highly recommend

THIS WAS BY FAR THE BEST EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD GETTING CONTACT LENSES. DANIELLE, KELSEY, AND NICHEOL GREATED ME WITH BEAUTIFUL SMILES AND AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXTRAORDINARY. I RECOMMEND EVERYBODY STOP IN FOR YOUR VISION NEEDS.

Hands down had five star service with Nicheal and her Manager Danielle. They provided me with exceptional customer service and were able to even provide me with temporary lenses until my prescription comes in. Definitely recommend this place for your eyeglass needs

I was able to make an appointment quickly. Although I did have to wait a very long time to be checked in. Nicheol, the person who helped with exam, getting me my glasses was very friendly and helpful. The Tele doc was different for me but was pretty easy to deal with.
