Starlight Market 3 星光超市3, Coralville IA

This is a really great grocery shop! I was really happy to find everything I was looking for. I went to Starlight Market 3 especially looking for douchi or natto, which I found right away. Everything is well-priced compared to other grocery stores in the area. I was especially happy to find a lot of reasonably priced fresh produce. Their papayas, shiitake mushrooms, okra, thai chilis, and tofu are all the best deal in Iowa City/Coralville. You can also find affordable greens, kelp, seaweed, seitan/gluten, spices, seeds, and tubers at Starlight Market 3. They have African grocery staples as well. Everyone was really nice and helpful.

Iowa City's best Asian's market! They replenish every Thursday nigh! Very fresh vegetable and meat until Sunday!

This market was so cool to walk into. I actually found Longans! Longans in Iowa? ! The shelves are full and they have some neat things for sale. For example, quail eggs.only $1.79 a dozen. If you want to experience another culture, check this place out.

My only criticism is that the isles are cluttered which makes it seem dirty.

Ehhh.it's not very clean and smells bad. I think has something to do with the fish. I get that the general theme of Asian grocery stores is congested aisles, dim lighting, etc, but this could have been cleaner. Multiple products were opened which made me uncomfortable and I felt like the prices were a little much for some things. They did not have a decent selection of ramens or sauces that I was looking for. You could probably just go across the street for a better selection and better maintained store.

Came in the other day with my brother. The market has quite the selection but overall I feel it could use a good deep cleaning. And more parking space. Would return here

MANY expired products, and unlabeled expiration dates. Frozen foods are usually freezer burnt. Over priced products compared to other shops in town.

Talked to a man on the phone who said they had the product I was looking for. I drove down and he told me they don't carry it and tried to sell me something else. He was rude and lied over the phone! Buyer beware!

I am shocked this place hasn't been shut down by the health department. It might be the most unsanitary place I have ever been.

Wide selection of food from Asian to African. The seafood selection is nice. The building is a little dated and could use a good renovation but serves it's general purpose. Very friendly people shop here as well!
