6I've been waiting for years to get around to seeing this house. I'm really glad I did. I loved it.
Really lovely place. Sadly we went on a day the tours were not happening- Sundays! But we definitely peeked through the windows and into the house. We enjoyed thinking and talking about what it was like upon completion. Would love to return and take the tour someday!
Visiting made me feel deeply ashamed at the inadequacy and cookie cutter feel to my own home. Well worth the trip.

Great visit! The tour was outstanding, and the architectural interpretive center next door hosts several volunteers who will give selflessly of their time to answer your questions about the city and the architectural gems in Mason City and beyond.
If you're a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright and history in general you'll enjoy the tour, if you know nothing of him you'll still enjoy it.
