Subway, Manchester IA

Had to update my review from 6 years ago. This Subway is still an OK place to eat at any time. Depending on the time you go in and who is working at that time, will define what you will get for service and the amount on your sandwich. I've had many times in the last two years where I'll come in and get little amounts of meat and or vegetables for what I should be getting. Usually the men that work there are the ones who don't gi e a whole lot, if that were to happen. Once in a while a woman may as well. The eating area is ok and usually clean, with some messes now and then.
Just tonight I walked in around closing and no one other costumers were around. A couple of the employees were cleaning up, expecting no more costumers and when I walked in the one getting set to mop threw his mop down in slight anger and walked off. As I went to order my sub, the man who made it kept messing up and at the end of the process and giving me my sub I could see them talk to one another on something and just before that when I was paying, I was asked what I got (sweet onion chicken teriyaki) I come home to find that I didn't get that, but instead got rotisserie chicken. I was in a hurry and couldn't go back, they were also closed by then.
All in all. It depends on time and whoever is there. Check before you leave. I like subway but people like that put stains on the shops.

Beyond annoyed. My son used his own money on a sub for an online order. They charge nearly $2 for avocado. $10.32 for a foot long. They forgot the avocado, I brought my son his food, he called me that there wasn’t any avocado, the receipt even had “avocado” listed on it. The place wasn’t even busy when we went in to grab the sub. I called and asked them for his $2 back. I got a “you can come get the scoop of avocado”. What am I going to do with that? ! Give me my son’s money back, make the sandwich again, or offer him a soda and a chip! WHAT A JOKE. Thanks for stealing from him.
