6Nice little lakeside park. Plus the blues fest going on, so lots of stuff to see. Very relaxing.
The party is the park we were in has steps that lead down to a Pier that leads out a ways over the water. There is kind of a lonely narrow stoney beach where the kids can find rocks and shells.
The trees in the area are historical as where they were acquired from. Like there is an apple tree from a Jonny Apple seed tree, cool
This park has a historical flair as each tree planted has a significant doner or doner tree from our U. S.history. Like from Jonny Apple seed. There is a walking trail. But not a beach as far as I know?
The tree museum is a really fun piece of history, great for a nice stroll.
Brings back childhood memories! Glad I am able to take my kids to a park I played at!
Beautiful and nice park and markers on a good variety of trees explaining some of the trees history and facts. Storm Lake has a great park system
