Super 8 by Wyndham Osceola IA

Room smelt musty. Window was open at checkin so room was hot and humid. Double light near bed only one side worked and other was going out so it blinked. It was just a quick pit spot to sleep and shower before continuing the 1,500 mile drive.

Overall, I was pleased. I was traveling with my young child and felt safe coming in here. The room was comfortable, nothing fancy but I prefer that. Staff was friendly enough. The breakfast was mid, but a few snacks you could take for when you hot the road. Close to food; mcdonalds, Taco bell, KFC, pizza hut. As well as a few gas stations. Very quiet small town feel. If I needed to stop on a trip up north again, I would be happy to stay here.

Made reservations month in advance for 2 rooms on first floor since had a wheelchair, when checking in they had nothing except second floor, offered nothing to compensation will not stay here again

Was told I would get reimbursed for the tv not working at all, front desk attempted to fix it but was unsuccessful. Unfortunately, I did not receive any reimbursement

Clean safe and silent my three favorites besides cheap lol and it was cheap also. Highly recommended

When we got into our room my husband said there was a dirty washing hanging on the shower rod. I told him to throw it on the floor. Then he got in the shower, the water barely came out, he said it didn't feel Ike he git the soap washed off. My feet were tired after wearing tshoes fir 10 hrs so I took them off and walked around for 20-30 mins. Then when I got into shower the wet shower floor turned all black and gross. I told my husband that the carpet was disgusting and try not to walk on it. After bathing I laid all the towels in the floor so we could walk around without getting black feet again. We will not stay here again. Yes the room looked clean, the beds were comfortable, but I'm not going to bed with soap still in my hair cause the water pressure was so bad, and floors so yucky.ugh!

Was not pleased with the housekeeping in entryway, as it was filthy. The exterior door was unable to lock, so was unsure of security. Rooms were fine.

As a truck driver there is plenty of truck parking and a Casey’s truck stop next door so you can always get something to eat or drink in your room

I stayed one night a couple years ago with my 2 children. Someone from the room below us was banging something against the ceiling. Before it was over the person at the desk came to our room and said we were going to be made to leave if my youngest didn't quit jumping around. He was in bed.

Showed up to see if they had a room at 2: 30 in the morning after a long day traviling. Front desk was very nice, polite and helpful. Will definitly stay there again on my next trip through.

This is the cleanest super eight I've ever been to they have a very nice breakfast The sheets are very clean the room does not stink The front desk people are very friendly.usually when I go into a super 8 I dread it cause I had very bad experiences with cleanliness, but this is by far the best one I've ever been to. I would definitely come back again.it's a bang for your buck

Our tv didn’t work asked the front desk clerk to help. He couldn’t get it to work. Said we had to wait for his manager to return as he was traveling. Well if he’s traveling the tv wasn’t getting fixed. The front desk clerk wanted us to stay in the room without a tv. Asked for new room. Clerk said he would check. Waiting for the clerk to contact us. After 15 minutes I went to check the status.
Clerk was just sitting in his chair doing nothing. Again asked for a new room finally got one.

Confusing on where hotel was located as its sign was near another hotel.

On the positive note rooms are clean. Continental breakfast was average.

If we get back that way we will still stay here. It’s frustrating when you drive several hours and you just want to relax and watch tv.
