Super 8 by Wyndham Pella reviews
15 Don't stay here this company from hiring a shady room keeper that didn't knock ahead of time while my boy was getting dressed popped his head in without warning and still wouldn't get out till I yelled to get out. As well this companys security from unsavory characters is lacking as well the whole place wreaks of cigarettes and mold in every room. Then to top it off we weren't informed of construction that was scheduled and no discounts were made with drilling banging all hours of the day.
If you're looking for a deal that's worth it don't waste your time here it's the worst experience I've had yet
We arrived late. The young man at the desk was such a friendly, helpful person. Gave us valuable info about Pella. Breakfast was great. Very clean rooms.
Had to argue with the front desk to get another towel to take a shower and can't even get an extra pillow
I stay in a lot of super8 hotels and this one is the best! The friendliness I have ever seen. So if ur needing a place to stay in this area here it is.
Room was never cleaned. I had to ask to clean towels. My son took a nap said bed also rented two rooms. No one slept in it and I paid.
The cost was very fair for the stay. Inexpensive but very mediocre at best. The staff was accommodating and friendly and the room was clean and well maintained. The problem with the hotel is with the original construction. The walls are paper thin you can hear everything going on on the next room. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was very loud. Had a musty smell in the hallways could have possibly used some dehumidifiers located strategically around and some carpet fresh. Also shut the doors to the maintenance areas and utilities. They are open all the time…makes the place look disorganized. Overall it’s and ok place to stay on if you are on a budget!
Need to pay attention to the smell and air the rooms out sometime. Nice and comfortable beds
The value for what I paid was a good deal. I normally stay at another hotel in town, but was looking to save a few dollars. The front desk was efficient and upgraded me due to being a Wyndham Rewards member, which I appreciated. My shower water was pleasantly hot. The breakfast was plentiful with biscuits and gravy, fruit, waffles, cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs, coffee, juice, oat bars, honey buns, oatmeal pies, toast, etc. I was asked how my stay was several times. Definitely safe area - it's Pella.:) Doors have deadbolt and chain lock. Room temp was fine. Cleanliness was fine ; maybe just scrub the tub with wire scouring pad to remove the discoloration so it looks better. I'd not hesitate to stay here again. Stay here, save some $$ and go spend it at the bakeries and local stores!
Best motel in town. Best hospitality, Best service, and best staff. Staff was so nice and friendly very helpful.
My husband is an old farm boy does not like being down town, but close driving distance to Main Street. We were in Pella a week before the Tulip Festival because my husband doesn’t like crowds.
The Super 8 staff were friendly and accommodating. We decided to stay an extra night. The hotel and room were clean and tidy. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious and a nice afternoon snack. The renovations were very nice. All In all we had a very nice stay.
The staff was amazing! Super friendly and helpful! Pella was a beautiful place and staying in a nice hotel made it all the more worth our while!
All the towels were stained. I refused to put them on my face or body. The bed was full of hair. Gross
The only thing I didn't like was the room was freezing on arrival. Please turn heat on before a guest arrives when it's -9 outside. The staff were great breakfast was awesome had a very nice layover for one night:)
Just a simple hotel, but it was clean & the bed was comfortable. The people were very friendly. Great service!
