Super Quick Liquor Store, Windsor Heights IA

Had a miscommunication about a brand of cigarettes i wanted a few months back, the owner was great and communicated with me about the issues. Would definitely continue my business there since the shop showed that they care about their costumers. A+

Place is always clean and organized staff is so helpful especially the new boy who work in morning. He be having some good recommendations he had me try Japanese gin which was very good and last time he showed me some peanut butter whiskey

Didn’t buy anything here because what I wanted was marked WAAAAAAY UP. I actually found what I wanted for way less at Capital City Liquor.

Love this place! The staff was so accommodating and nice! Landed here a bottle of McKenna Henry which recently won “Best in Show Whiskey” at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. What a treat! I haven't been able to find this anywhere! Love the selection! Thanks for such a positive experience! Take care!

Good selection of liquor, wine, beer, some grocery items. New ownership for the years time or so. They are friendly and working hard to make improvements to the place and offer a good variety and they're succeeding. It's my local liquor store and I'm glad for it.

I like their both stores. I am very impressed with the collection of wine and liquor they have in this new store. Keep it up!

These guys are best. I cant tell here how nice and helpful they are. I am buying from this store from last so many years but since the new ownership came things have changed so much in better way and I hope they keep their standards the same way.

Me and my father go to this store all the time. We like bourbons and this store has great prices on the bourbon whiskey and every time we enter in this store the employees always have smile on their face. Love this place.

They don't stock or carry John Rich's Redneck Rivaera Whiskey. Hy-Vee and Faraway don't carry it either so if this much smaller store could get it and keep it in stock they would have an exclusive! Smoother than Crown, about the same price and made in the U. S. A. This store did have Campari Liquor at $29.99 where Hy-Vee was $33. Didn't purchase anything since I really was looking for Redneck Rivaera otherwise maybe I would give 5 Stars!

I have been there couple of time now and every time I go there I get surprised with the Wine collection they have. Its like you name it and either they have it or they will order for you.

I like their both stores but the one on east side is the one i usually go to.the owner UT and the staff are great people. They respect me a lot. God bless them all.

After the review response (thank you for responding), I sent my wife back in to see the amended price.

The reduced the price to $89.99. Fareway in the metro has been selling the same bottle for $49.99, and my wife even presented them with that receipt. I've tried to attach a photo of the initial and amended prices, along side the Fareway receipt.

This is a highly allocated bottle (that's a term in the booze word), and it's controlled release by the Iowa ABD. Not every retailer is able to get their hands on this type of bourbon. My next move is to send a letter to the Iowa ABD, showing them proof of this, because a retailer like this should not be receiving the highly allocated bottles.

If they want to sell it on the secondary market, that's fine. Do that.and this would be a normal price for that. But they're taking up a spot on the Iowa ABD list for these allocations from an honest retailer.

This is really disappointing.

Garbage. They are scalpers. Stagg Jr.bourbon was released this week, and retails for $49.99. They have it listed as "George Stagg Jr" and priced at $199.99.

They are playing to the name, and the secondary market. It's complete BS.

I even showed them retail price tonight. They said it wasn't a mistake.

Complete garbage.

I hope I can give them more than 5 stars. This is best liquor store in town. They have huge varieties on Liquor and Wine. Every time I go there they have something new for me in Bourbon or Scotch.

They are the best & they are so friendly & nice I wouldn’t go to any other store if I could give them 10 stars keep up the good work guys all love xoxo

They have an excellent selection of sherry. The service is very helpful and courteous. I hope to shop there again.
