SureStay Plus Hotel By Best Western Coralville Iowa City

Greeted very friendly. Few minor problems with the room, not even worth saying anything to anyone about. Got a great night sleep.

Nice rooms, reasonable prices. I am on oxygen 24hours a day and they were very good about letting me check in early. I would definitely stay there again.

We traveled to the hotel prior to bad weather, we were coming in late in evening and treated with great hospitality. The "hospital stay " rate we received due to having appt next day was more than reasonable. Due to snow amount overnight of 7 inches we used shuttle service which was a great peace of mind. We felt safe & secure in the hotel & using the shuttle.

Easy location to get to, parking lot has some lighting. Basic amenities in lobby. Staff was friendly and fixed a broken door card quickly. Wifi worked fine. Breakfast was fairly typically, space to eat was clean and kept up. Rooms have been remodeled several times, so I few places you can see mistakes or some sloppy work.

This hotel for the price is very clean and nice pool area and a very good hot breakfast. You can't beat it for the price. Was looking for a hotel close to Iowa University hospital and this was only 1.3 miles away. Thank you

The front desk staff and cleaning staff were very kind. The hotel was quiet during our stay. Our room was in proper order. Also their complimentary breakfast was really good.

Let's just say I had a lot going on and I hadn't got a lot of sleep I didn't get to check into my room until almost 2: 30 AM but when I had called to see if they had any rooms the girl who answered the phone was so friendly and so kind and that's what made me want to stay here.

Nice hotel. Room was nice sized and clean. Staff was friendly. Only minor concern was the number of people who were sitting out in the hallways. Would stay here again.

I love this hotel. Pillows are so hard tho. So bring your own. And I did not know there is a 25.00 pet fee not deposit that I did not see on the website at the time of booking. So to my surprise I was charged 75.00 extra because I had 3 chihuahuas. Which I'm not bringing dogs next time

Stayed for a weekend due to the fa ts that our home was having renovations done and first night in got bit by a bed bug. When we brought it to the attention of the hotel Matt who was working was amazing and very helpful. The problem was the manager of the hotel was then rude when we had an issue with the return of a measly $35 on an over $430 stay. We stayed an extra night and the manager decided to comment on our issue by stating they only live 7 minutes away if not happy why not leave. She was very rude and downright disrespectful. I have photos and videos of the bed bug and the bite. They will be being posted soon.

Unexpected trip to U of I hospital and a late night booking, but everyone was nice and the room was great.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Matt at the front desk was friendly and one of the reason we booked our stay here. The breakfast had eggs, sausage, waffles yogurt, bread, condiments, cereal, cupcakes, brownies and 4 types of juices for kids. The lift worked great and no noise in hallways. Great place to visit with family or without.

Our experience at this SureStay was great. Service was friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and well kept. The building had a great look, and our suite room was large and very nice. The only elevator was down, causing issues for older guests. So keep in mind they only have one. We loved the ability to bring our dogs with us.

Matt at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. Great conversation and definitely made us feel welcomed. Iowa friendly is definitely a real thing! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip through Coralville. Pet friendly, so we can include all of our kids on our trips! Decent price for what you get, and the kids loved the pool. LOVE the turquoise color scheme in the lobby, very fresh and classy!

The room was clean the showers clean bed made no stains breakfast was good and hot if I had one criticism about it I would say the bed covers could be a little thicker I personally thought it was to thin but overall good place to stay

Stayed September 1st, 2022.the gal that took our reservation the night before was very nice. The guy that checked us in that evening was kind of rude: I ringed the bell at desk for service and no one came out, we waited for awhile and I rang it again like twice and a guy came out n said, you only need to ring it once. I said I did but no one came and we waited awhile so I rang it again. We went down to the INDOOR pool after we got settled in and changed, the pool had crickets n whatever in it plus up by the chairs which I think they came from the door that went out to like a patio that had a table and chairs if you wanted to sit outside, so we didn't go swimming and no hot tub. The hot breakfast in the morning that lasted until 10, which we went down at 9, there was 2 sausages left that only one of us got, the milk was empty, the butter pats for the toast n what not, was in the fridge and so when you put it on your toast the toast would rip and the plastic ware broke when ever you tried to cut your waffle.

I'd definitely recommend this place! Helpful guy at the front desk. Shower drain needed fixed so got switched into another room and its perfect! And its a great location

Stayed the night on Tuesday the 13th because my son had an appointment at the University clinic a few blocks away early the next morning. Checked in around 4 pm. Gentleman at the front desk was very nice and we did find out if you have an appointment with the UI they offer a discount. Will remember this for the next time. The rooms were very clean and the place was close to a lot of amenities that you could need. Will stay here again.

Very good pricing and location is great. You are just minutes away from all of the fun. Rooms are up to date and clean. Staff was very friendly.
