Taco John's reviews
18I'm new to the mid-west, never heard of taco John's, and to be honest wasn't a big fan. Their $2 chicken taco wasn't horrible, but their $5 burrito was disgusting.
This place has been around forever, and the staff pretty much grew up there. Awesome service and the food is always delicious.
Order was correct on receipt but your incompetent staff has messed it up yet again. This has gotten to be a regular issue with ordering food at this establishment. Maybe instead of rushing through and not paying attention to what people are ordering LOOK at what you're doing so people don't have to waste gas on a 20 mile round trip just to get the correct food.
The one in Newton is excellent their meat is just a touch spicer than the rest, very good.
Food was mediocre. The real bummer was that we forgot to ask for any sauces - shame on us - but, it would have been greatly appreciated if we had been asked if we wanted any sauces. It would have been a welcome reminder.
We came in pretty late and the customer service was excellent. Constantly checking on us, being positive and polite. Haven’t seen this good of customer service in a long time. Thank you!
Saw the sign on the Interstate and had to try. There's a bit of a drive from the 80, but worth it. The guy behind the counter (Tim?) really friendly. Overall experience was great. Parking is too small for big rigs.
I've missed a certain restaurant in NYC since I lived there. San loco. They have a beef taco loco that is my favorite. I just found the perfect replacement in Taco John's TACO BRAVO. Never eaten at Taco John's in my 54 years. But I will now!
When going through the drive through make sure to put you vehicle in park and check your bags. This Tacos John's seems to forget sauces and napkins!
Food was fast and tasty. Workers are pleasant and are capable of taking your order correctly the first time.
Really gone downhill. Took almost 20 minuntes to get my order done. They still messed it up!
10/15Today I went in for lunch and they got my order wrong I asked for a number 3 no beans and they gave me a number 2 no beans and the forgot my oles. I wasn’t going to write anything until I found a black hair in one of my tacos. Very disappointed
10/16Today for dinner I ordered a ta o salad with no beef add beans andddd they forgot the beans: (what the heck I feel so betrayed
Was in drive thru over 30 minutes. Food still wasn't prepared by the time I arrived at the drive up window.
The cook had a bad attitude when I asked why it was taking so long. I left without my order.
Don't get me wrong the food tastes the same as it always does, but this location seriously need to hire more employees so that customers don't have to wait for 30 minutes to order.
Arrived in drive thru at 10: 21am. It is now 10: 37am and still waiting. The person on the speaker had a attitude with me and was very disrespectful. Every time I come to taco johns I spend at least 25-30 minutes in the drive thu. I am very disappointed in this place. I will not be returning. They have lost a few long time customers. I will be spreading the word to avoid this place.
Food was fresh. Ingredients were distributed throughout the tacos instead of placed in clumps and layers as is common with fast food tacos.
Taco John's food is just okay compared to other fast food "Mexican" eateries. Im sorry but it's true.
On that note, my review is based on the drive thru experience as well as quality of the mediocre food.
Often while traveling, eating on the go is a great time saver. This can become very inconvenient if the food you received is prepared sloppily or incorrectly.
On first arrival, the drive thru line wrapped around the building and out into the parking lot. With approximately 7 cars in front of me, and traveling with my dog, my only option was to wait. My wait was less than 5 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised.
I was very satisfied with the freshness of the food I received on this day, as well as the accuracy of the order. The burritos were well rolled without food falling out or sauces dripping everywhere. I was provided all the necessary/requested condiments and an adequate amount of napkins.
