Target, Mason City IA

Went to pick up a costume I ordered online that said was in stock before hand, order said processing for 40 minutes so I eventually went over and went to ask the help desk. Girls at desk stood talking not even acknowledging I was there and once they did an older women came over to help and when I told her about the situation she aggressively told me they can’t do anything till it says it’s done processing. Payment already went through all they had to do was go get it and it was at 9pm at night with multiple people working standing doing nothing. Processing ended and it said out of stock, i went in and found 12+ of the costume sitting there. Lady behind counter needs an attitude check.

They don't keep enough lanes open. Both doors are open but they only have one end of lanes/self checkout lanes open.

Only 1 far register open on grocery side, Long line, no employee whole length of store to ask a simple question. Store looks closed. Not enticing to shop/buy. Noone could answer my question and I got so frustrated that I put back few items I was going to buy. Poor.poor for business and customers.

For a place that claims to not discriminate this place sure does. The leaders and higher ups r always in the office, the store is a mess. Kyle the manager is a joke no one respects him, the amount of safety hazards in the back room is concerning. This place is worse than Walmart.

I had an amazing experience with my first ever pick up order at target! The lady at that department was super nice and explained what I needed to do.

Sure, some items may cost a little more which is generally not true, but you don't feel like you are in a race and fighting off the crowd because Target does not have narrow, packed, and cluttered isles. Low stress shopping and shorter check-out lines.

Love the target store but very tired of the panhandlers in the uhaul approaching people for money.cant believe target allows it

Much prefer it to Walmart plus we no longer have K-Mart or Shopko. VERY friendly staff, wide aisles, clean & well lit. The ONLY downside is no 'Express' lane!

An Ok store. I love love love Target in general, but I hate shopping at this specific store. Not updated to the target that I can find in other cities. The clothing is always super messy, over stocked, and hard to find anything. Bra and underwear are completely disheveled. Baby stuff is always unorganized and hard to shop in as I’m always running into another mom or a cart. The shoes! So messy and hard to find a pair that goes with the displayed shoe. Toys and home decor are decent. Grocery is good and well stocked for the most part. Prices are good although they have gone up recently, but what hasn’t. Again, it’s an ok store but I would love to see it held to a higher standard.

We love Target pick up orders. Almost always pleased with their products, prices, deals, and espeically their thoughtfulness! Would shop in person more if all locations had a nursing/mother's room though!

They had jeans on display that were not for sale! What kind of store displays something they won't sell?

Target in Mason City Iowa is it pretty decent store. Sometimes you can get really great deals on groceries. Sometimes you can get better deals than Hy-Vee or a fareway. Once in awhile you can find some good deals on clothes.

They did not have any tights or nylons in stock! The shelves were empty!
They also did not carry any slips for under dresses or skirts! They sell a ton of dresses & skirts but no slips! Does no one have any decency left that they wear a slip anymore, or is it just that everyone buys everything online?

This Target store is terrible! Our first incident with these people was when our car was backed into by somebody else in the parking lot. We came out to rear end damage to our new car. We notified their store and needless to say they did nothing about it. Their security was even too lazy to properly review the cameras. They said we were parked too far towards the back of the lot for the cameras to see anything but their parking lot has cameras all the way at the back of the lot on the lamp posts. They didn't want to deal with us anymore so they sent our claim to a third party company who basically told us we were s.o. L and had to file a claim against our own insurance. Thanks a lot! Our second incidence with these people was that we had an extra baby crib from our baby shower. We were gifted 2 of them and clearly only needed one. It was unopened in the box still but my in laws didn't keep the receipt. Target in Mason city told us they can't accept a return over 150 bucks without a receipt and if the item was sold online they could not return it in store. That is supposedly "company policy". Well we were able to take the crib back to the Target store in Owatonna without one single problem. They gave us store credit without any hassle. So much for "company policy" right? There's clearly a huge case of laziness and not giving a damn going on at this store. The bathrooms are disgusting every time we go there and the store is very unkempt. Too bad it's literally the only place to shop in mason besides walmart.

I had nothing but positives for this company and for this store but with the way the employees handled the situation today it was extremely unprofessional and I was shocked. My girlfriend and I had purchased a brand new PlayStation 5 game and when we got home we immediately realized it wasn't the right version of the game, so I called the service desk number and I was told even though we had opened the game that the return/refund process would be no issue as long as we had the receipt. I was sure to clarify multiple times that the game had been opened and even asked if I would only receive a partial refund due to it being opened and I was assured again that I would receive a full refund as long as I had the receipt, and the card we paid for it with etc. So that was that, I then brought the game in a day or two later and was immediately told that I could get no refund, I explained the situation and the only solution they could provide was an apology for someone giving me the wrong information, and a possible exchange for the exact same game on the exact same console, which would require them to take out a new sealed copy of the game and break the seal just to be able to give it to me? I was shocked and extremely disappointed, I can't picture myself returning to the store anytime soon, or recommending it as I once did.

Such a fast, easy process, clean store and the associates are so much friendlier than other stores!

The store is clean and stocked reasonably well. The store is really out of date. It looks like the one I worked at in 2005 in the twin cities. Targets further from the twin cities tend to be barely stocked or really out of date.

Great store and great associates, but I just wish their bathrooms were cleaner.evertime I use them there is always something nasty somewhere.

Seems as though every clerk that checks you out knows what they are doing, and if they dont there is someone they can call for help.i had a new girl today and she did an awesome job.

We were shopping for our incredible shrinking mom. Had decided we had found all there was there. We were asked by a manager type who asked what we were looking for, he then introduced us to Amanda as someone who could help us. Rebecca and Amanda helped us locate a few items we hadn't noticed and assisted us in ordering the appropriate size and desired color. We then made our way to checkout where we had a pleasant experience with Becky, whom kept our stuff while we went back for forgotten items. We had a positive and pleasant experience at the Mason City Target.
