The Dig Inn reviews
9The Dig Inn is the place to be. I love the welcoming atmosphere. The owner is super fun and really cares about this place. Great selection of drinks. They have games in the back and lots of great seating. Love it!
This is the best little bar around! The atmosphere is great, plenty of drink options, good music, etc. I would recommend to everyone, but don't want it to get that crowded.
Didnt have a large variety of beers.stock was old service was slow took my wife 10 mins to get a glass of water
Great vibe and really cool owners. Sat and talked to Ben for quite a while and enjoyed our stop here very much.
Pretty cool place to hang out. It has a really chill, retro vibe, and the vintage signs are awesome. If you go there, you have to try the alien excretion. They go down too easy.
A really cool hole-in-the-wall.lots of vinyl records and kitchy decor.vintage arcade games. Interesting history background on the business.
Ben's place is super cool and unique. Great conversation and decor. Love the nostalgic feel. I don't believe there is a record made that isn't in there somewhere. Vinyl collectors, this is the place to go! Definitely worth the road trip. Thanks for making everyone feel welcome Ben! I will definitely be back to hear more awesome tunes!
Destination Reinbeck, Iowa! Just another dull cornfield town with nothing much going on besides getting out of town. A recent road-trip found us venturing into The Dig Inn in sleepy Reinbeck. Once inside I thought I might have taken a wrong turn into someone’s 1973 basement. From furniture to the decor hanging about as well as some old school real country vinyl finding my ears I was confused as to how this place could survive such a town. But a friendly greeting from the proprietor, Ben, made you feel at home. It’s a cozy place where conversation is the TV at least on this day. Four or five taps of mostly Iowa beer, a decent selection of canned and bottle beer as well as a liquor selection that seemed Iowa normal. Vinyl records for purchase are available as well as played and sometimes Ben will even take requests. I enjoyed The Dig Inn. It’s a unique place in a not so unique town. Destination Reinbeck is now on the map with the help of Ben and his cool little establishment.
This is the perfect place to enjoy a few adult beverages and talk to the regulars. The owner is fun and very knowledgeable about different craft beers. Has a limited bar, wine and fun sodas. PLUS, its a fantastic vinyl record store! If he doesn't have it, he probably can find it. Love this pub! Can't wait to go back.
