The Helping Hand of Warren County reviews
17This facility is a great asset to Warren county. Provides help with food and a store with clothing and merchandise. Very friendly and very well organized.
This place and the wonderful, kind hearted people that run it & work there are an absolute blessing. They generously give to those just getting by or really in need. It's a really special group of people working so hard to help others have and get what they need to make a place a home. Thank you for all you have given and helped me with. ️️️️️
Great place to get community help and assistance. It's a great service for elderly and people in need.
Very nice and organized very sweet people run it and ready to help you find anything you need
The staff is awesome and very understanding and helpful. They go out of their way to try to help you with whatever you need. Love it!
So pleased to walk into a place where you are greeted at the door. I was dropping off some donations and a very sweet man carried my bags in. Just be sure you check their hours.
I LOVE this place. They have so many items for free on certain days. I used to be kind of uppity about not shopping or getting things from stores like this but I regret not going when I was younger and wanted a bigger wardrobe. I’ve seen some very fancy brands go through the store and brand new looking clothes some with the tag still on it. Plus the people there are amazing. Always so sweet and willing to help you with anything. One lady helped my mom try to find her cane because she sat it down and then it was gone but she offered to get her a brand new one in the back! They have such a variety of things like purses, greeting cards, lamps, dishes, pictures, shoes, games, toys, plus clothing, regular clothing, furniture (some had been brand new too), they even sometimes have meals to go & snacks or drinks etc.it’s a must visit store!
They are the best people. They help anyone in any need and I just love Sue and Rachel They are a good crew.
Helping Hands is the best place ever. Lots of friendly, helpful people; and a great place for resources. Go shopping for free. And if that's not what your looking for, PLEASE DONATE, LOTS of people depend on the donations:)
The staff and volunteers are just amazing. They provide much needed services to the community and are willing to go out of their way to help meet the needs of their clients.
Amazing people. This is the place to donate to because the really take care of those who are in need. I couldn't believe the amount of food that they gave me so much meat and popular brands of most of the items. I haven't been to very many food pantries in my 48 years of life but this place goes above and beyond to take care of those who need help. Very easy process. You don't have a bunch of paperwork about income just have to show your id. Incredible organization!
Anyone who has a need in Warren County, Iowa welcome. Also a Food Pantry. The staff are very passionate about their mission.
They are more helpful than anyplace I've ever been to.i do think some of the elderly volunteers need to cute back on their workdays, I've heard a few talk bad
Amazing people Amazing community!
This place is wonderful, helping hands is open to all Warren County residents and offers every thing from clothes to household items. Items are donated and the store is ran by volunteers
These people who volunteer their time to help so many people are GREAT! With they way things are now due to Covid it's great to know that people and places like this are there to help the community.
The volunteers that I have dealt with have always been very friendly, easy to work with, willing to provide any assistance they could, in a very helpful and non-judmental manner.
