Of failure to follow up by Dr my husband has lost since 11/20 so much of his way of living over a year in the hospital and continue on going health issues from an infection, that turn into sepsis. This is 2023 if we had been informed that he had an infection life would be better today. ‘was proven notification never done. If in January of 2021, If we were given information of infection my husband would be the man I married 65 years ago.

My husband is supposed to use a cather or he can't urinate. We have been tring to get the dr to call Unity Point at home so they can get us what we need. No call backs and no orders sent. Hopefully we have enough for the weekend and don't have to go to urgent care. We will be calling our primary doctor on Monday to see what she says. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

If I could give zero stars I would. The staff is extremely difficult to work with and they seem to not put a lot of effort into patient care. The fact that this clinic has a complaint department speaks volumes. I'm still waiting for the returned call I was promised by the director weeks ago. They are just awful.

My husband had a procedure and then ended up in the ER later that evening. I called the next day to ask what we would need to do next, no call back. I called again the next day, again no call back. Called again the following Monday, when I didnt get a call back within 5 hours I called again. Person answering the phone kept interupting me and i just decided it would be best to find a more professional office.

Better think twice about going to this Iowa clinic the staff there is absolutely horrible it takes them 4 days to call you back when you leave a message and then they have the audacity to say we're busy

I took my wife here for a kidney stone and they got us right in and set everything up to get the stone removed. They took very good care of her.
