Cynthia was AMAZING! When I booked my appointment, I was able to have her look at two bridesmaid dresses and my own wedding gown. I had no worries about timing of anything being done too close to the event because she’s a thorough planner. For my wedding gown, I need a hem, shoulder/waist/bust taken in, and a bustle. Cynthia was meticulous in pinning everything just right, as was proved when I came in a second time and she decided the pins looked a little off. There was even a flower appliqué right in the front center that I didn’t know was there, and she made sure to not lose it with the hem. Cynthia was so great to work with—communication, customer service, expertise and all! I’ll definitely be going back to The Sewing Room with any future dresses, and I’ll be recommending to all my QC friends!

The Sewing Room is the best! I needed to get in pretty last minute due my previous establishment cancelling inconveniently. I was welcomed and taken care of so well! Honestly wish I would’ve booked my alterations here in the first place! I highly recommend this establishment for your bridal alteration needs! Cynthia is absolutely amazing!

Cynthia is the real deal. I was so nervous and hesitant about letting anyone do alterations on my wedding dress, and I knew the second that I met Cynthia that I trusted her completely. The alterations she did on my dress were absolutely top notch, she did not cut a single corner. She takes PRIDE in her work, and it shows in how beautifully constructed the alterations are. The length on my dress was spot on, and the bustle that she created was perfect for the style and cut of my dress. It was also incredibly durable, and custom designed with what made the most sense for the fabric.

You meet Cynthia, and you know right away, "oh, this person KNOWS what they are doing. " which, for me, was so relieving when handing over my wedding dress to be worked on. Do not skimp on this part- a stellar seamstress is a MUST!

Cynthia is also just an incredibly cool soul- and very fun to be around. I really enjoyed working with her!

Cynthia was absolutely amazing. She is the most down to earth and kind person you will ever meet. We had to postpone a whole year due to health issues. She picked right back up and made my dress fit like a glove. I had a plus size sample dress that was way to big. She worked her magic on this beauty and it was stunning day of. The bustle was super easy and held all night.

I originally purchased my dress from Brides by Jessa, upon receiving they referred me to Cynthia. I knew going into the alterations process I’d need quite a bit done especially on the top part of my dress which made me a little nervous. To say I was blown away with the final fit is an understatement, the dress looked like it was specifically made for me! I received so many compliments about how it fit perfectly as well - to no surprise due to Cynthia’s great work! I can’t recommend her enough!

She refused to help me even though my wedding is 3 months and the alteration is really small. But she will be away for 3 weeks so she can’t help me. Ok….
