Theisen's, Indianola IA

Had what I needed and more. Checkout was little slow more lanes than there were works so it bottlenecks with 1 checkout. Otherwise I will go back. Staff was also great to talk too.

Was good but had stuff on internet that wasn't at there store. Only need to try to order to store

First time there. I was impressed.bigger and more to choose from. I still like my home Depot.great place. I we'll be back

Lots of good merchandise, but way over priced. The Wrangler short sleeve shirts are $14.99 at the Walmart where I live. They were $25 at Theisens.
Great gummy candies though. In fact, they are the best I've ever had.

A good selection of quality pet foods, although they have unfortunately cut back on some of the canned cat foods that I bought in the past. Although this is not the best Theisen's in terms of a wide breadth of clearance items (Grinnell and Iowa City are the best, imo!), they generally have great prices in general, and 75% off on already marked down clearance items is hard to beat. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially a cashier there whose name is Rico. He is one of the best customer service people I've ever experienced; he is efficient, friendly, takes the discount off of items without being reminded, and can multitask like a champ. Plus he wears cool glasses. Give that kid a raise!

They have everything you think you need plus things you didn't even realize you needed! Everything is organized, priced well, and there's a variety of product options. Highly recommended!

Easy to park and shop in the store. Aisle are wide with selected items to find. There is someone who will always assist you if asked.

I traveled 2 1/2 hours to get a couple of Buck Huts. I want to give a shout out to Double D and his guys in the sporting goods that helped me order, locate, $ load the huts. Top Notch customer service by all. Theisen’s you need to open some store in SW Iowa - I will be you biggest advocate and customer.

We knew what we needed ran in, got the stuff plus a few other things and was out of there in no time. Did have to ask one of the employees a question and she very politely said I'd it didn't work out to just bring it back.

I went to Theisen's to but some plants for my garden. It was highly recommended by a stranger while I was shopping at Walmart. I'm really glad I took his advice because all the plants look good, and were even cheaper. The cashier was very pleasant, had to answer the phone while waiting on me, and apologized. The store is clean and organized. I do miss eating popcorn while shopping, but I totally understand. Keep up the good work.

The worker helped me a lot. When i couldnt find the shoes i wanted, she called the other Theisens store and had them hold them for me until i got there.

Went to 4 different stores in Des Moines before I got frustrated and decided to try this place to look for a gas powered tiller/cultivator and finally found one! And they were very helpful when explaining a few things to me!

Was looking for a dog doormat. Couldn't find them in dog/cat supplies and employees were giving me the run around. One told me it's by the clothing and the guy who worked in that area had no clue where it was. He was calling around and he mumbled back to me. I didn't have time to wait around as I had to leave for work. When I got to the cash register to purchase dog food, the cashier would only point where they were and refused to communicate with me because I'm deaf and lipread. Gonna order what I need at Chew

It always takes FOREVER to check out, no matter how many people there are. Staff generally is barely polite much less helpful.

Theisen's in Indianola is big and spacious. We found boys boots for our grandson that were on sale. Glad we stopped in that store.
