Joan at Therapeutic Massage is my most important health care provider. I have osteoarthritis in several joints as well as disc problems in my low back causing chronic hip pain. She did neural reset therapy for my first adjustment. I was amazed at the level of muscle relaxation achieved. I was able to walk with a normal gait for the first time in years. Joan is a caring professional!

I have been going to Joan at Therapeutic Massage since she started. Her constant updating and training to her knowledge has helped me in so many ways. I started with severe headaches, debilitating for hours I was bed ridden. I have not had one of those in 15 years. As I age, all kids of aches and pains arise. Her training takes her treatments for me in questionable directions at times.but her knowledge is spot on. She can feel my pain and thus knows how to remove it. The office is warm and welcoming.and so is she. Glad she is there for me.

My husband went to Therapeutic Massage a little over a week ago. He has had back issues for years, but was in the midst of a irritated sciatica. Dubuque area…. You have such a hidden goldmine in your midst with the service and knowledge at Theraputic Massage! Joan asked great questions to determine his issues and history, was very intuitive with the Neural Reset she performed on him, and gave him some great stretches and exercises to do later at home. I cannot express enough how much relief she offered him, how much more comfortable he was after the fact and how incredibly talented Joan is as a massage practitioner!

As a Dr of physical therapy I am highly critical of other practitioners. Joan exceeded my expectations. She has a gift for NRT. I traveled a great distance to see her and I was very pleased with the session. Her insight into the working of the neuro/fasical system is impressive.

It begins with the feeling of the room, the lighting, soft music, smells, warmth of the heating pad, if that’s what you like. The feeling of the tension leaving your body as Joan works her magic. She can find trouble spots without you telling her, and sometimes you weren’t aware of. It’s an experience I allow for myself monthly and it’s good for my soul.
