Tin Roost reviews
17Food was alright. We made reservations beforehand for a big party. We were sat in a party room and the lights were not turned for half our meal. The service was slow. We waited one hour before they took our food order. Waiter & manager didn't bother to check in on us, apologize, or refill our drinks throughout that hour. We just sat in the dark.
We had our son and future daughter in law’s wedding rehearsal dinner here. They worked really close with us to make sure we got everything we wanted, from the food selection to the drink options. The private room “The Coop” worked great for the size of group we had. Would definitely recommend this place for any event you are looking to host.
We were in a large group for cocktails. I found the drinks odd. Presentation was nice, but the flavors didn't work well together.
We hosted a business meeting and social there and all of the staff were great to work with! Morgan and Olivia staffed our event and were very attentive to all of our needs. Amanda and Mackenzie were great to work with when booking the event and coordinating all of the details. Thank you!
We arrived during a busy time last Sunday afternoon. We spent the time waiting the 40 minutes or so for our table by strolling the path around the pond and taking in the flowers, fountain, etc. The food was good, the jam especially delicious. Service was friendly, but very very slow. I was with another family who had been many many times and reassured me that service is usually bad like this. It was unfortunate because I would have liked a water pitcher or coffee refill, we were going to order more food and drinks to try but couldn't because nobody came to check on us or ask (at least not for a long time, and by then we got our check). We ate outside and loved the atmosphere! Really beautiful.
It was a nice place. Playground for kids was wonderful. Food was good but not the greatest. Sizes of food way to big.
Amazing place. We showed up with a party that we thought would be 15 people, Ended up being 40. They accommodated us all. Our service was great and food, drinks came out quickly.
Pork sandwich was dry, mac and cheese was good but very overpriced. Mercedes took great care of us. It was very loud, then they started music outside, making any conversation a yelling match. This is a one and done for this visitor, sorry.
We love this place! Wonderful food and staff. We had our rehearsal dinner hear and this place was a hit!
The food tasted awful and the dishes were very unsanitary. The service was okay they had a couple mix ups, never going back again. Wouldn’t recommend, don’t know what the hype is about.
The food was great as usual. We had breakfast this time and around and it was just as good as everything else I've had there.
Would highly recommend for a small wedding venue! If you really want to, this location can be a 1 stop shop. We got married behind the Tin Roost near the stone and bridge and then had our reception in their largest party room we had about 65 guest. We got married here in May and our experience was absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough good things about the staff, the event manager Amanda and overall, how we were treated! It is not often a bride and groom can say that they had no stress on their wedding day! They took care of us and pampered us every step of the way! The food was amazing and the level of flexibility the Tin Roost had to make our day special, and custom was amazing!
Great patio, good service. For the food, I ordered the voodoo chicken, the good news is it was cooked fresh, the bad news is that it was raw in the center. Raw, raw. I was on a first date so I didn’t want to make a bad impression by complaining, instead I ate around the edges and got a to-go box so I could take it home and finish cooking it. This pic is after I just microwaved it for over a minute at home. Still a little pink, but a little more cooked.
The food is delicious. The atmosphere in the silo is very loud, but the side seating is quieter for conversations. Outdoor seating was fantastic, too. Plan to spend at least $16+ per entree, but servings are ample. Their mac-n-cheese entrees are especially good!
Amanda and Mercedes were phenomenal to work with! Tin Roost provided bar services for a networking event we hosted, and we could not have been more pleased with their service, punctuality, organization, and just overall greatness. We received many compliments about their excellent service and look forward to continuing to use them in the future. Highly recommend them for any kind of event!
We had a small engagement brunch on Father's Day for about 18 people and had the use of one of their private rooms. The food and staff was excellent. Would highly recommend!
The food was outstanding and the service was great in its own right! The pickles are the bomb! Certainly will be stopping by again.
