Toyota Service - Wilson Toyota of Ames Service Center

Do not schedule an appointment for a tire rotation & oil change unless you have 2.5+ hour window to wait for service. I have been a customer at this location since 2017. The last 2 services I have received at this location were a 2.5 and 3+ hour wait despite having a scheduled appointment time. I was patient and assumed they were struggling with staff shortages. 6+ months later and they are still over booking appointments. Frustrating when they continue to schedule a large volume of appointments without the ability to serve those individuals in a timely manner.

My experience with Wilson Toyota was great. They were very helpful in getting me to the body repair shop. The Man there explained to me what the damages were and what repairs need done. I am happy with the service I received.

I can't say enough about the fantastic experience I had here. The service advisor Jamie does what he says he will. He listened to my concerns and went above and beyond addressing them. I won't take my Toyota anywhere else. What an asset to Ames. Thank you.

Called for regular service appointment and to have the door on the gas tank replaced because it won't close correctly. There is a broken hinge on inside causing it to not close or stay closed. They were going to charge me a $130 diagnostic charge to look at the door before fixing it. Cancelled the appointment - will take business elsewhere.

I bought my Tundra here and continue to service it here because the owner gives back to North High school functions. Also, very nice people to deal with

Good service and friendly staff, plus you can drive in and get service and drive out. Many times, especially during winter and inclement weather you don't even have to go outside.

Service is top notch. Answered all my questions and didn't try to sell me things I didn't need.

Always in and out in record time. Staff pleasant. Go to great lengths to make your visit anxiety free. Somewhat of a rarity at a dealership.

Wilson always does a great job taking care of their customers. Their service is second to none which is why I continue to buy Toyotas.

I waited 2 hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation with an appointment. Not pleased.

Surprised and saddened by my oil change experience at Wilson. I received an oil change yesterday at Wilson, and they told me I was good to go. They did not show me the dipstick, so I asked to see the level and it was almost an inch over the max marker. The technician got the manager out to double check, and he confirmed that it was too full. They did fix the oil level and put it back to where it should be. From my last oil change, Wilson cleaned out my engine when LOF overfilled it with oil, and so the fact that they made the same mistake was infuriating. What further frustrated me was a call the next day from a manager who said that their parking lot has a slight incline, and that is what would have caused it to look too full. Overall, make sure they show you the oil level after your oil changes!

What has happened to service dept? I am on my way back for the 3rd time in 24 hrs. Spent big bucks and its not fixed.

EXCELLENT! Zero issues with this Toyota dealership. We've leased over 10 vehicles from them and zero issues.
