5 This will probably be my last time renting from U-Haul and from this location in particular.
Pros: The truck was clean and got the job done, the proprietor was friendly and helpful enough.
Cons: The truck engine and suspension were very rough. I put 4.2 gallons of gas in the truck before returning it, and the gauge was higher than when I picked it up. According to the U-Haul receipt, I put 25 miles on the truck (and I never left it parked and running), and they charged me for 3 gallons of gas. That's 7.2 gallons of gas to drive 25 miles! Finally, the U-Haul mobile app SUCKS! This was at least the fourth time I've tried to use it to pick up and return a rental, and every time it has either completely failed to work or has taken a half hour or more and multiple tries.
Had a great experience. As a first-time tower, Gary was very patient and walked us through how to get everything hooked up. He also spent the time to show us how to strap down my motorcycle. Highly recommend this location and service!
This is a convenient location with excellent service. Not sure why there are any critical remarks. I have known the gentleman who runs/owns the franchise and he is helpful, knowledgable and honest.
Good experience, but not sure why they'd chose an old Motel that was built back when the Interstate first opened and probably wasn't well maintained during even those times.
Worst company? Go with Penske. Worst experience during a stressful moving time. Not work saving $50. Go with Penske.
