We love the staff here! We have always had great experiences here! Our first choice when we need care!

I saw them on Sunday with an appt and after waiting for an hour and a half you all forgot to call in my prescription and now after calling four times I still can’t get a hold of you to send in my prescription. What am I even paying you for. This is beyond rude and upsetting.

If you have any other option do not come here I called ahead and told them what I had asked him if they had staff and equipment to take care of my issue they said yes drove 40 minutes to get here and now they won't treat me because they say they can't take care of this issue

I scheduled an appointment yesterday and when I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment time I was told that due to the number of people waiting I would not be seen at the time. I told them I scheduled an appointment and the lady upfront told me that there was no guarantee when scheduling as it is first come first serve so people just walking in are seen before me. Absolutely ridiculous! If I had known this, which is NOT stated where they tell you to reserve your spot, I would have come much earlier in the day. Instead, I had to suffer until my scheduled time and then some.

This place is terrible. I went for an ingrown toenail. Nurse looked at it. Gave me antibiotics for the infection said it will be fine. Out the door in two mins. I said I can't walk, I need it cut out. She did not and charged me $450.5 weeks later I still can't walk and I am out $450. So I dug the toenail out myself. What a joke!

Came here for an X-ray on my foot after being referred by the Old Capitol Quick care location. They were upfront that it may be up to a 2hr wait due to an outage of their equipment and gave me options for where I could go if I didn't want to wait which I greatly appreciated. They got me in after only an hour wait fortunately and were very quick and kind with me.

This is a busy location with a small waiting room and waits can be long but they do their best to work through everyone as quickly as possible. They also have a monitor listing other urgent care locations and how many patients are waiting at each in the event that you choose to go elsewhere.

They apologized for making me walk (hobble) down the hall to sign paperwork. They were also very quick at getting my x-rays processed and released to me as well as correcting a small error in my referral paperwork so I could get my immobilizing shoe. This has been a stressful day and I was in pain but they did what they could to make it easier!

I am a travel nurse, at the time i was working at UIHC, I hurt my back helping a patient. I went to the urgent care on holiday road for treatment. I was treated by the occupational medicine provider Dr Iverson. He was very professional, took his time listening to me, examining me, as well as informing me what i could expect with treatment. Each time i came in, he remembered my name, and seemed genuinely glad to see me.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and very patient with me. They too remembered me, laughed at my jokes, and seemed to care about me.

I was 1000 miles away from home, my employr was treating me like i was useless, and the workmans comp people just said outright that i was useless. However, Dr Iverson and his team treated me as a person of worth, cared about my problem, and worked hard to get me back to work. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I was sitting in the doctors office (after being taken back) for almost an hour before I just said forget it and left. No one even came in to say “hey I’m sorry we are running behind it may just be like thirty more minutes”. This was super frustrating because I went in there for a reason and had to leave without a solution, in order to make a meeting on time. It has never taken me this long before. I do not recommend going here if you don’t want to wait an hour and a half all together before even getting seen by a medical provider.

The entirety of the UI health care is one giant scam. I've held back posting this for quite some time, but now I can't so I'm going to warn others before ever stepping foot in this place.
1. They do NOT treat the source of issues here, they only treat surface level symptoms. If you probe them about doing anything other than (let's say a flu or Covid swab) when you're having those kind of symptoms and the tests come back negative, they get highly defensive and question your medical expertise, which brings me to my next issue.
2. I am NOT the expert - I am coming to you for you to dig down and find issues, and then communicate with me. But when I am saying something is wrong and again, your only solutions are generally to treat surface level symptoms and then to "come back if things don't get better. " We're going to have issues, which brings me to my third issue.
3. This place charges an arm and a leg for anything they do! And their software must be slow. I had to set up a payment plan to handle the pricing of a couple of visits (since I had to keep coming back because symptoms would come back after each visit.) And now, 20 days later after my last visit, I am getting an email about over 1K not on my payment plan, even though it should have been under the payment plan when I set it up. For a charge that big, an email should have been sent out within a day or so. It's not at all hard to look at your sister institutions in the medical field and see what
they're doing right and to copy that.

Lord help anyone that has to go here. I hope your visit (s) go better than mine. If you hear the words (Come back if.) Do not - they won't. They will gladly stack another charge on top of the previous one even though nothing was taken care of in the first place.
It's understood that you're busy, but if you can't actually treat people, recommend a specialist or an actual doctor who has the time to dig deeper.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I’ve heard so many horror stories about this location. I went there today for severe dizziness and nausea. The staff was great! Very pleasant and helpful! I saw Jennifer Mazza, ARNP. She was very nice and able to figure out what was wrong. I was very pleased!

Didn’t assess the issue you at all. Went in and out in 10 minutes definitely do not recommend m, although I do think people in the area should know… GO TO SCOT BLVD URGENT CARE! That was such malpractice here at Coralville urgent care. Just unbelievably sad because university of Iowa is so much better than this what the hell is going on with this place? Definitely will be making several reports.

I'm not one to normally leave reviews, but I am absolutely baffled by the lack of competency at this supposed clinic! I have gone here 2 separate times both for fairly urgent things, as you do. I was in a car accident and came here to get a physical checkout, I specified that I did not want x-rays, just an exam because I wasn't feeling good (possible head injury), and instead of examining me, the doctor argued with me for 30 minutes on which roads Specifically the accident was; I was in an accident and had Totalled my compact car on an SUV, not 20 minutes prior, and she was quizzing me on a town that I am not from. I was so furious for the lack of concern and effort! I had gone, once again, with my boyfriend to get his ankle x-rayed, with a high possibility of it being broken, all they had to do was take the x-rays (we had been referred there since the original ready-med couldn't do x-rays) and decide whether it was broken then give him the treatment. They took the x-rays, and then told him to go home! They would send him the results, that's it! They didn't tell him if he should come back or where to go to get it treated. He is a college student and cannot afford to just take the entire day off and walk on a possibly broken ankle. I also have to work and cannot take the entire day off either to take him back and forth between the doctor and home. They did not offer any sort of help with getting excused from classes, or anything else. They obviously do not care about their patents and I will never be going here again! If you want actually to be helped, please go quite literally anywhere else! Google would be a better help than these incompetent "doctors".
