They always go above and beyond to help me out with missing mail or letting me grab a UPS package before it hits the truck.

They had trouble getting in to my locked condo building to deliver my crib mattress, but when contacted about it they went above and beyond to get it to us. Great communication, great happy dispositions! Thanks for all you do USPS!

Worst service ever. I recently submitted a request for the post office to hold my mail while being out of town. While out, I checked tracking on a package and saw it was delivered on the front porch. I called and spoke to Ruben (post master) at the Grimes Post Office and he said he would have my mail picked up along w/ the package at the front door. After coming home, I noticed package was setting on the front porch still. I went into the post office and spoke to the woman at the front desk about this, and she chuckled as if it was joke. She then mentioned I need to fill out a form at the post office for holding mail instead of using the online form. I told her I've had mail held by the post office in the past without issues. She had no clear response/answer.l've also had the wrong mail delivered to my house on several instances. I guess this is what you get with a Federal institution with limited/no accountability.

In 3 years time since moving to grimes, I am out over 700.00 in packages that have been delivered, but not to me! It is beyond ridiculous. Too bad others keep packages, but that wouldn't be a problem if it was delivered correctly!

Would NEVER recommend this post office, especially if Pattie is working, she was incredibly RUDE, unprofessional, not helpful whatsoever. I would highly recommend driving to a different post office if you need to go to one.

One of the best post offices I’ve ever been. Always friendly and accommodating. I know it can be a tough job for them with some of the customers they have to deal with, so having a friendly smile all day long is an accomplishment. Way to go! Keep it up!

Every time I go in the workers are always polite quick and helpful. The post master was even kind enough to find a lost package for me.

Edited; Lost my vehicle registration and they were kind enough to return it, going above and beyond yet again. Thank you to everyone.

I have never had issues with this location personally. I ship multiple packages out from this location every other day or so. No complaints

The Grimes Post Office is by far my favorite Post Office to ship through. The staff is always so efficient and cheerful.

Awful. Waited all day for a package to arrive. It never did. Then when I looked up the tracking number it says they tried to deliver it (at 6: 00 PM) but stated that no authorized party was available. I was here literally all day waiting, watching, and listening for the door. It also says they left a notice of delivery. Nope. Nothing on my door. Nothing in the mailbox. Pathetic.

I normally don't encounter a problem when I need to mail something out. The young lady who usually works is very nice and professional. The rating is for today's visit. The lady (Patti) behind the counter working today is extremely rude and condescending. The way she talked to the customer in front of me was uncalled for. And then she had the nerve to behave that way with me! I get if one has a rough day but to be so blatantly rude is unprofessional. I can see that this place has gotten a lot of one-star rating and I'm beginning to believe it's probably because of her.

Any mail I have sent out from my home has "mysteriously gone missing" from January. This is 2 checks I have sent out for payments due and another I was supposed to get a refund check back from Menards. I am now paying late fees because of the negligence of this post office. When is this going to stop?

I've had 2 packages 'lost' by the Grimes postal service. When I spoke with people over the phone @ the post office for the 1st instance, I was told that the carrier delivered to the wrong business in Grimes and that the location had dropped the package back in the mail. That was end of September.filed the claim online and NOTHING was ever resolved.no package.nada. Now I have ANOTHER package supposedly delivered on December 23rd and it was not there. I highly doubt I'll get that package either. I've lost $100 due to there carelessness.
