United States Postal Service, Cedar Falls IA

I live in a small town and a few weeks ago sent a time sensitive letter to Texas out over night. It didn’t make it to the final destination that next day but was there the following morning. So when I needed to send another time sensitive letter out to Texas again I thought going into a bigger town would be a guarantee which I was told it would get there. To my disappointment it didn’t make it over night in fact it’s not even close. I guess I will take my chances with my small town postal service from here on out. Because the service and guarantees of this postal service isn’t worth the drive. Kind of hard to make it to Texas when the package was still in Iowa at 900 AM of the day it was to arrive in Texas. Guess who will be getting the $26 and some change back for this ordeal. Not happy.

I use this post office offen, I am alway nice and polite to whoever's working but not always the same given back to us customers.

I shipped out 3 items yesterday through media shipping, I ship a lot of vhs and dvds and those qualify as media but for some reason video games do not and I was not aware of this.

They opened up to of my packages (damaging the packaging) then re sent them back to me, no refund.

I would of gladly paid to have them ship the right way and I would apologize for the inconvenience of not knowing.

USPS in Cedar Falls is a joke. My mail ends up at other peoples houses, watch the mail carrier throw packages from the sidewalk on to neighbors porches. Have an issue with our mail carrier walking through my yard after I planted new grass and still continues to tromp through. Went to the postmaster and says he can't do anything about. I've never seen so many ignorant mail carriers. USPS is a joke for sure

Usually my street has no issue with our mail being here and in our correct mailboxes but yesterday I don't know if the carrier was new or what but all of us received the wrong mail. Thank goodness we are all truthful neighbors because I had checks and a new credit card come in that was put in my neighbors box and I had my other neighbors mail which was from a bank as well. Also thank goodness I have USPS digest that lets me know what mail is coming. And also whoever is dropping off packages with USPS needs to quit dropping the packages down as well and place them down gently. You never know if something is breakable in them. Not all companies place fragile on the boxes.

I completely understand that there is a shortage but still there is no need to take it out on packages. I understand the long days of being at work and not having time with our families. Still no excuse on us doing our jobs correctly.

I've been here dozens of times and generally have a positive experience. Today was an exceptional experience where a lady helped me switch boxes to save $25 on shipping. Upbeat and energetic! Thanks and I'll continue to use this location in the future.

Rude, unhelpful. Tried to find out if my address was charged, as it was supposed to be over 10 days ago, 100% unhelpful, and rude. Treated me like I was dumb!

I have had others people's mail put in my box every other day for about 2 weeks today I have mail for 3 different apartments in my mail box! The lady that answers the phone was very rude and decided to get offended because I wouldn't except her excuse of everybody makes mistakes, no one should be making mistakes that often with people's mail!

This post office location is a shining example of why the USPS has been failing for years. Save yourself time, money and your dignity and use stamps.com or UPS/Fedex instead.

Absolutely the worst place in the Valley to deal with! I would love to give less than 1 star. They can use Covid-19 as an excuse but it has been horrible since I came here 9 years ago and keeps getting worse.

Every time I have been to this location, the lady at the front has been EXTREMELY RUDE and unprofessional. The first time, I thought it was just a rough day, but this is the 5th time now. I can't believe it. They are never helpful and make you seem extremely dumb. Thanks USPS for making my experience with you one in a million!

I use USPS often to send Ebay items. I havent been there much since covid. I see alot of negative reviews and my experience has been positive. Ladies in there are usually friendly enough and they get alot of guff from people. I've gone in several times when people are downright rude yelling at them about mail issues. Right now I've been on hold for an hour since a package hasnt been delivered and it's late. Does it suck waiting an hour on hold? Yes, but they have alot of extra packages with the way the world is right now. Anytime I've had an issue they have fixed it. Thanks for what you ladies do. Its appreciated

Laziest post office ever! They refuse to use our apartment building codes to leave packages inside, so if something doesn’t fit in the tiny little mailbox you have to go pick it up which gets old and is a real pain! The employees are always very stand-offish and act like you’re bothering them. Just all around one of the worst post offices I’ve ever had to work with. I dread seeing USPS on my order tracking!

RUDE. UNPROFESSIONAL. I filled out a form to forward my mail from 1 address to another. Instead of calling me to tell me there is a minimum of a 2 week time period for forwarding mail, they decided to permanently change my address to the forwarding address. Which then takes around 10-14 business days to have your mail sent to that address. As it was time to go back home I then had to go ahead and change that address back to my REAL address which then takes another 10-14 business days for them to change the address. Long Story short. They changed my address without my approval. I now have been waiting for my mail for weeks and Every time I go into the post office and ask for anything the lady's behind the counter always give a cranky, snarky attitude. Completely Disappointed with this post office.
