UnityPoint Health - John Stoddard Cancer Center reviews
4Great experience with Dr. Jawa; however, it seems that they are a super busy office/clinic because the conversation with the nurse was very rushed to the point she did not finish the health questions, the conversation with the doctor didn't feel long enough either but we did talk about the main concerns.
I would give it less than one star if I could. My dad has a brain tumor. Dr. Isaak didn't even do a planning MRI before he started radiation. My dad complained of symptoms during treatment, but they continued with radiation until he ended up in the ER with brain inflamation. Because of their negligence my dad has a reoccurrence of the tumor. I was even yelled at by nurse Katie in Dr Jawa's office when trying to get second opinions outside JS. I still cannot believe the level of incompetence and lack of professionalism at this center.
Amazing place to go! Not only for the cancer center but they have a pediatric wing, and an OB wing, a place for diabetics and pretty much anything you could need at a hospital to be seen for.
Never had a bad experience here, usually we're taken very good care of at this hospital, appointments are fast and workers are professional and kind!
Parking can be a bit of a hassle sometimes when busy but they have a parking garage and a very large parking lot so it's not hard to find a place to park.
I would recommend this hospital to anyone in all honesty!
Happy to have a hospital around like this!
Taking the 40 minute drive for proper care is worth it!
What a nightmare. They give toxic amounts of chemicals as part of chemo. You are treated as nothing more than a science experiment. I ended up having Cyberknife treatment. 5 days and by Gods intervention I am cancer free.
