7I don’t usually give reviews but if I can save anyone from the trouble my husband and I just went through with this terrible company. We both got new phones in march. I was told by the sales person that the new Samsung ultra 22 “was the best phone ever” That couldn’t have been further from the truth. The phone was junk and completely went out within 6 months. Took it back to US Cellular just to be told I had to contact Samsung. Even though I’m paying US Cellular for the phone I have to go track down the people they bought it from. Samsung took my phone for a week and switched out the whole motherboard. Leaving me with absolutely no phone for over a week. I had to cancel appointments and meetings because of this. US Cellular did not care one bit all they want to do is sit back and collect your money. I finally got my phone back a week later just to find it wasn’t fixed at all. I had Samsung blaming US Cellular for their bad network and US Cellular blaming Samsung. Two companies pointing fingers at each other like toddlers while I have absolutely no phone. I sent my phone to Samsung to get a new one. Meanwhile we went into US Cellular to close everything out and pay off both phones. The lady helping us do so was by far the rudest person I have ever met. Two phones not even a year old and US Cellular said they would buy them both back for $800. Hell No! So we went to Verizon and they gave us $1000 trade in for each phone and set us up with new phones on a network that actually works. I’ve since then contacted the BBB and anyone else I can about this nightmare. Please beware of the company and do your homework before signing anything with them. Save yourself the hassle and just go to Verizon and get an iPhone. God Bless.
I have lived in Clemons Iowa for going on 10 years. Now I get no service. Calls are dropped or do not come through at all. My texts say waiting for a connection and I cannot communicate with my kids and grandkids. I had to leave town Saturday to call customer service and was on the phone with them for 50 minutes. They were taking my information and complaint to see what was going on. Today someone called me back to say the so called engineer said we have issues in this area in different seasons. I have not experienced this until the last few weeks. Don't tell me this is your answer. If I could give no stars Iwould
Listen to the problem I had with my phone and fixed. Employee was very knowledgeable. Very friendly.
We have had great experiences at this location and yesterday was no exception. Lisa helped us with a new plan and phone. Excellent service from her and there was no wait. This is our store!
Came in yesterday to check out pricing on upgrading new phones and within minutes I knew I was going to be walking out frustrated. The lady helping us right off the bat was stand offish and rude. She didn’t seem to really want to help. After telling us our plan was going to go up from where it already was due to new plans and such I mentioned I might look at my options. At this point her attitude caused me to walk out. My suggestion is if you are going to have these people work with the public train them better and if not plan on losing customers.
Went and checked in and watched a lady write down my name and what vehicle I was in so they would come out and get me when they were ready. I waited for a hour and a half and watched 2 people walk out. I see a lot of people have this problem. Shut it down
Waited almost 2 hours in my car and watched 3-4 others who showed up after I did have their issues dealt with. Very disorganized and slow. May choose a different carrier after all the times this has occurred.
