KAYLIE was AMAZING! She was so knowledgable and professional, and gave me ideas for our next appointment too. It’s been hard finding a good salon since moving to Iowa, so I’m glad I found V&V and specifically the lovely & talented Kaylie. Thank you! Highly recommend.

I had my hair done at Valor and Violet a few years ago for a wedding that I was in and immediately felt at ease and loved the energy especially during a stressful time. Everyone was so positive and worked well as a team. I returned after talking to Stacia about sew in extensions. I have been seeing her for the last three years (taking some time off due to postpartum hair loss). I’ve had a positive experience each time. Stacia is so skilled, easy to talk to and the time management has always been on point. I recommend them to everyone I know. Added bonus: they have the cutest puppers at the salon too

The cut and color by Kaylie was great. I didn't care for having the dogs there. The couch sits very low. I am handicapped so I couldn't sit down. Even if I could sit down it was covered in dog hair so that wasn't an option anyway.

Excellent service and they do the most beautiful hair colors and styles. You get what you pay for. I trust the stylist here and they make me look a-lot prettier than any other place I have been. Emily does excellent extensions. And the owner does beautiful color. They deserve a 12 out if 10. Give it a try, youll love how you turn out. I will never go anywhere else again.

I scheduled my daughter's Prom updo back in February, so over two months ago. My daughter received a call from Valor and Violet today saying that they would not be able to do her hair. I personally called them to see what had happened. The person who scheduled the appointment with me over the phone had put my daughter down with someone who is off on Saturdays. Prom is just a week away and we are just now finding out about this. The owner did not offer a solution or try to find a way to get my daughter in still, it was oh I'm sorry but we are just too booked. We all know how hard it will be to find another appointment this close to prom to get my daughter into and it's her senior year. I can understand mistakes but at the same time this should have been caught before now and as I mentioned the owner should have tried finding a solution which she did not. So we will not be going back there ever.

Josh and team are awesome. Always a great vibe with top notch service.
