Vision Park Family Eye Care, Urbandale IA

I get such great care from Dr. Billings and her staff (especially Julie!). They are friendly, efficient, and informative. After examining my eyes, Dr. Billings always pulls up the photos, shows me what she's looking at/for, and why my eyes are healthy. I have had issues in the past, and she's been very diligent in keeping an eye on things (pun intended). I drive two hours every year to see her, rather than change my eye doctor. She's great.

Awesome experience. Dr Billings is so caring and explains everything so well. Her assistant today was great also. Most fun was the door chime for Halloween.

Dr. Mueller and her staff are always very helpful and provide exceptional professional service!

On a side note the door chime startled me - reminded me of a movie with something bad about to happen.

Dr Triebel has been very helpful and knowledgeable in figuring out my vision problems. She knew exactly what to do as far as the kind of glasses I would need. I am so thankful for her help and will return if I ever feel it’s necessary.

My second eye exam at Vision Park Urbandale. Optical tech Shawn (I Think) was great. He really listened intently and asking questions. And my new eye Dr. Dr. Wendy Muller was also great! Everyone at Vision Park are awesome. I have been to 3 out of the 4 Drs and they are really good at what they do.

This was my first visit to Vision Park Family Eye Care. I was long overdue for an exam and had some concern with my vision. I am very pleased with the experience. Everyone was very friendly and personable. I got in for my exam within minutes of my arrival. The technician/assistant was awesome with a great sense of humor and helped calm my nerves. She and Dr. Groth both explained each procedure and let me know what was being done and why. I feel I had a very thorough examination that addressed all my concerns without feeling rushed out the door for the next patient.
When it came time to pick my new glasses, all the options available were presented and explained and I was provided a statement, including my insurance coverage, showing exactly what I would be responsible for - and the prices were better than I was thinking (results will vary depending on your insurance). It was a great experience and I will continue to call Vision Park Family Eye Care for my eye care needs.

Very unhappy with limited hours to schedule appointments and pick up contacts. Called ahead of time on a Friday to advise I was on my way to pick up contacts. Robin advised me hurry since she would be locking the door at 5pm promptly. As I pulled in the lot a 5pm she was locking the door and turning off the lights. I called the following week to talk to Robin and my primary doctor about better customer service moving forward. Robin hung up on me and when I called back and advised Melissa that I was hung up on she said Robin did not hang up and didn’t seem to care about the poor customer service I received. Sad because my family has been going here for years but they have lost this family. Fingers crossed they treat customers with more kindness moving forward.

Absolutely the best experience I have ever had. Everyone was very attentive and welcoming. Dr was very thorough. Will make this out permanent eye care stop.
