Wagner Locker, Winterset IA

We have been taking our beef the Wagner’s for years now and have a very good partnership. They do a great job taking care of customers and helping them through the locker beef &pork process.
We have used other local lockers in the past but we have found Wagners is one of the best around!

They are very polite and helpful, even prep ideas. The maet is the highest quality and tons of flavor.

We purchased some beef being processed by Wagner locker. We've been customers for 2 years. Their customer service is EXCELLENT, they did the work in a timely manner-they keep their promises.
Prices are very reasonable and the cuts of meat were perfect-exactly what we asked for. These folks are pros and are great at what they do. Thank you Wagners staff-you are the BEST!

All of the meat is perfectly packaged & labeled. Customer service was amazing with exceptional knowledge and great suggestions. Online cut card was really easy. Reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!

My first experience purching a 1/4 side of beef. They helped me figure out the cuts and selection of beef as I was pretty ignorant.
Very easy to do business with. Cuts were well done and the packaging was easy to stack and organize. Well labeled too. The flavor of the ground beef is so much better then store bought. Looking forward to warmer weather to grill the steaks!

Great service & very friendly! Love their ribeyes, sausage, applewood bacon️ So much better then grocerystore meat, & knowing it comes from local farmers!

Bought half a cow and a whole hog. Cuts were fantastic. Everything was exactly as I specified on my cut list. Packaging was great and easy to stack/store. Couldn’t be happier with what I received.

Bought several different cuts of beef and all the fat, and of course the flavor, was trimmed away. Will try Milo locker next time

We split a beef with another couple. The steaks are good, but the ground meat clearly has liquid added to it. I can’t press a burger and have it hold together. I made meatloaf and had half a pan of liquid after.

Bought a beef through a buddy, first and only time going to be going here, I live two hours away, took me a couple weeks to get down there, no mention of a late fee until we go to pick up beef, office lady was very rude to my wife about it. She pushed the carts outside and closed door. I stepped inside told her I would not be paying the late fee if they could not let us know about it. They then called my buddy that I bought the beef from and flat out lied, telling them that I was yelling, screaming, very rude, and cursing at the office girl over $25.

UPDATE. I would say calling me back a hour after you post a reponse and threatening to take me to court is not the way

UPDATE #2.sent us a bill less than two weeks after the first one with a 20 dollar late fee on a 25 dollar bill telling us they were sending to collections, real nice telling us they want to earn our business back after treating us like this.terrible customer service

Kirkpatrick locker is my absolute favorite! I've always been OK with store meat, until I bought meat from the locker! It's such a difference in taste and price. Here's a steak that was DELICIOUS.check it out!

We have had nothing short of a great experience using this locker to process many beef. Thanks to all the staff for what you do!

The girl who takes calls has been extremely rude every time she answered or called us, She was also cursing at people in the background as well while taking orders on phone. We had a beef processed here. This is 2nd time we had meat processed here. The cuts were twice the thickness we ask for & the hamburger was so full of water you could squeeze it out like a lemon. I don’t recommend this place.
