Walgreens, Marshalltown IA

I like walgreens as is very handy and easy to pull in an park. I stopped as i needed a copy of a 5x7 picture i was able to do quickly and pay and go within a short time. The only Issue I have with this store are their prices are very high on everything and some are so expensive I honestly go there when im unable to get something somewhere else I will stop there. They do have large selections of health and beauty needs and much more. Also is a pharmacy if need perscription filled.

The pharmacy is VERY poorly managed. Always under staffed and the hours are ridiculous.no nights or weekends? ! They have repeatedly failed to renew one of my injectable medications even though I sent in a renewal request online a week in advance and then called them to remind them several days before it was due. Every call is an ordeal; it takes 10 minutes just to get a live person on the line.

It's very important that I stay on a schedule with this injection, so I have at times had to drive to Ames or Des Moines to pick it up because they didn't have it ready. Other Walgreens have it, just not the one in MT. And I've been overcharged more than once for it and it took several phone calls to get a refund.

I have been a loyal Walgreens customer for decades, but enough is enough. I'm moving on to a different pharmacy.

Absolutely the worst Walgreens I’ve ever been to. Avoid this place at all cost, the pharmacy is a absolute joke. No one ever has any idea what is going on, they will close right at 6 doesn’t matter if you’ve been waiting for a hour. They do not care, they have zero respect for your time. And they are not open on the weekends? They just don’t want to be open when people can actually make it because that means they might have to do some actual work, which they avoid at all cost. Place is absolutely pathetic.

I ordered some 4 by 6 photos and a few wallet size photos from the Walgreen's print shop. The photos I submitted to be printed are medium to high quality.

I was excited to pick up the photos. However, when I picked them up today and went through them every photo was printed low quality/resolution. The coloring is off and they are blurred and pixelated. Plus there are weird random lines in some photos. I'm super disappointed.

Pharmacy issues belong on the manager for not doing the job! This service is what built Walgreens in the first place. This store needs a good shaking up and quit the excuses by providing the service the other pharmacy's in town are doing.

The busiest pharmacy in town! The staff will take time to answer questions about your prescription, and most OTC products and vitamins.
The store has a great variety of products, like a small grocery store, and carries items that other stores don't have. Plus the BOGO free or half price sales on vitamins and supplements are a good deal!

Im only doing 1 star because 0 is not an option. I showed up 10 min. Early like I was told for my covid test at the drive thru, the lady with short red hair at the window was super rude to me after she found out what I was there for. I waited 15 minutes just gor them to tell me they were still searching for my paperwork? Super unsettling. I left after the way I was treated and having to wait that long just to even find my paperwork. I called there after leaving and spoke to a woman manager and she didnt seem to see an issue with the situation, she told me they finally found my paperwork and that was it. I told her I would be calling corporate and she then told me oh okay thats fine. Id be embarrassed if I were this location.

Stuck in drive thru for over 30 minutes and still waiting and can not leave until they get the person in front of me done. Tried to call and they do not answer.

They play games with their pricing.
You stand looking at the prices and if you don't have a "card", they make the price hard to see.
I don't play games and refuse to shop there until they stop playing games with their pricing.

My dad calls in to refill his prescriptions all the time, he has to wait 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone.
