Walmart Supercenter, Mason City IA

Not always the cheapest around. And the grocery pickup service thru online order. I wouldn't recommend. You don't get what you order or pay for AT ALL! I had ribeye steaks selected thick cut. Paid over 65$ for them. What I got when I arrived home was sirlion! And the vegetables I ordered by the can when I got home were the half sized 8oz cabs. NOT what I ordered or paid for. Then when I went back to complain and double check everything.every order but THAT order is still on record.it mysteriously disappeared! Almost like it never happened. Only way I was able to prove the transaction ever happen was because of the record of it coming out of my bank! But surprise surprise walmart still couldn't find record of me ordering ANYTHING! Needles to Say all in all I was taken for roughly 100$ so NEVER order online to pick up your groceries. Unless ya wanna waste your hard earned money. Walmart is a bunch of crooks. Or hires crooks one of the two!

I HATE WALMART! I will never buy from ANY walmart again! I refuse to shop at any store that assumes I am a thief just for shopping. I was stopped by your watch dog upon leaving. I know he was just doing his job, but why do you need a guard at the door? Because you are too cheap to hire check out help! I wonder if the nun behind me was stopped also. I assume she was!

I don't hate just the Mason City walmart. You are all the same. NEVER AGAIN!

Oh, it seems to be a cluster f.in the aisles all the time anymore. Can't find workers to help you. The lines are long and self-checkout sucks. There is never any employee checking people out at this store at all anymore. And the price just keeps skyrocketing

Quiet today, which is strange. I have shopped here for 30plus years. Many changes have occurred, but I must comment on my trip yesterday.
Today, I was greeted by Cory [pictured] in the pet food department. He GREETED ME when I turned in the aisle where he was working. He was excellent. Cory was a perfect example of awesome customer service.
I also visited the pharmacy to pick up a prescription sent by Dr. It took them less than 15 minutes to fill, and everyone in the place was so kind. Two of my favorite pharmacists were working together, which was a relief with a new medicine. I teased them that I knew I was in good hands with their advice.
Thank you for 30+ years of support and LOW PRICES!

REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. TRYING TO SEND MONEY AND THEY ASK A BUNCH OF INUTILE QUESTION. REALLY MEAN AND RUDE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! HER NAME IS SHAMEN FOR EVERYONE TO KNOW AS A MEAN B.

Walmart is like the worst place to work.putting a cat down is not excusable. They don't give you holiday pay at all, their point system is stupid, if you leave early from work, it doesn't matter when you leave or why you're leaving you still get pointed. Which if you get to 5 points you're gone. Ohhh ya, they didn't have the decency to tell me I'm fired, they just took me off the schedule and blocked my account. There customer service also sucks.ive heard from employees themselves that it's alright to be rude to customers. Management doesn't do anything about it.

Pretty decent location, usually frequent this location for stuff we need, self checkout is fairly quick n easy, even got tires for our vehicles a few times, Still my go to place for most things

I despise going to any Walmart in general. This Walmart is fairly clean if you don't count the pallets of product in between every other aisle. They seem to have everything I've needed rarely been sold out of whatever I needed, their customer service has always been nice and no problems dealing with them, it's ALWAYS busy but don't have to wait too long for a self check out register, although if you need a clerk to approve something or fix something on it there only send to be one person for 8 check outs so you'll be waiting for that, and I've had problems with the register declining my card for absolutely no reason it had also happened to my mom and a few other people, always been money in my account used the right pin didn't have any blocks or locks on it and didn't go past my daily limit so still don't know what's up with that, and if you're in a department that has it's own register prepare to wait a bit for that person to come help you as well. Also don't be surprised if you're chased down trying to exit without someone asking to see your receipt!

The Wal-Mart in Mason City is the absolute worst one I have ever been to, mostly because of the management, like Andrew Wolf and Tina. Super lazy and disrespectful workers and management, never ask them a question. And if you need help at self check (as there are never any real checkers open), its a big inconvenience to them to help you they get a big attitude.

I didn't get an employee discount for having to check myself out since no other lanes were open, but I did get treated like I was shoplifting on the way out when the employee asked for my receipt and looked through my cart.

Went on for a new plug for the charger on my phone young man who helped me was very friendly got me all taken care of, then some dude in front of the store had to look on my sack to make sure I didn't steal them blind which is why they are my last option to shop. No matter how positive of experience you have inside the store you always walk out with a negative because you got to prove your not thief when you walk out

Asked 2 different workers where the padlocks were & their directions were confusing. The 3rd employee I asked took me directly to them!

Every time we go in there is no one helping in the floor and either they can’t unlock something or help carry an appliance cause they don’t have anyone on the floor to do so!

I tried calling them to get a question answered regarding charges from their photo center. I attempted 4 different times to get connected to a human being which resulted in over 20 minutes waiting on the phone that rang the entire time and no questions answered. Worthless. Poor customer service and execution all the way around. It's not Covid, just excuses for poor management.

Walmart is my store in Mason City Iowa you staff are great with everyone I've seen it with my own eyes THANK YOU FOR GOING THAT EXTRA EVERYDAY!

Always busy not sure why it's still closing at 11pm because of COVID as the workers don't sanitized carts no more they all are playing on their phones not even a welcome either!

I like this store bcuz when u ask where something is at they not only tell you they'll take you to the exact location! ! !
