Westwood is verry peaceful and enjoyable place to stay ishmael is to the point nice and trustworthy wishh more landlords like ishmael. Maintnance works hard and keeps up with things!

I’m counting down the days until I can leave this place. If you lack communication skills, don’t get a job where you have to communicate with people. We have no water at least once a week, without any warning. I’ve had to take my baby into the cold to go to the store and get bottled water so I could feed my kid because, Ishmael or anyone higher then him can’t let anyone know it’s being turned off. If it was an emergency, cool, whatever. Once a week, for weeks? Unacceptable. And ishmael’s excuse, “scheduled maintenance. ” IF IT’S SCHEDULED, SAY THAT SO EVERYONE CAN PREPARE FOR IT. I’m sure if I didn’t pay rent he’d be able to communicate real quick. No one picks up their garbage in the hallways, other common areas or after their dogs. There is tons of broken down cars in front row spots. Move out day can’t come soon enough.

Staff and was very professional when assisting me. Environment was welcoming. Ishmael was very friendly, listened and answered all my questions leaving me more confident during my visit. I am happy to know there is still people so courteous around! Thanks Westwood!

Ishmael is a fantastic Manager. He works with me in resolving any issues with my apartment. He communicates with me well and responds to any inquiries I have.

Property manager Ishmael is Easy to work with, Westwood is a great environment and they stay on top of everyday essentials. Definitely 5 stars!

It was a nice apartment for a family of 3. Ishmael was an excellent manager, I’m thankful he was here. He made moving in and moving out very well. We’ll forever be grateful for him and his help.

I’m happy with the new management I really am, he is a sweet man and I’m happy for the changes. I’m really satisfied with the communication we’ve had, especially with my packages being delivered by mistake to my old address which was apt 88 building 248. He has been so good to me with working out to get my gifts in the office so I can pick them up ️

Our experience wasn't the best moving in at first, but Ishmael has been super helpful and amazing! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for affordable rent and comfortable living space.

I would love to give this 5 stars but due to poor connections with postal and delivery services, me and many other people are not getting are mail or packages we order. Many doors have a number of missed delivery stickers on them and I've missed food orders because the drivers couldn't enter the building. The apartments may be cheap but now I have to pay more than other places after getting a PO box. Would not recommend this apartment to my friends.

I’ve been thankful for my time at WW, and always felt comfortable. Angie the manager has been absolutely amazing to work with, and communicates throughly, efficiently, and takes matters serious. She’s friendly and helpful! Truly appreciate all her help in making sure our needs are met and we are comfortable. ️

I just love our maintenance man, Chuck. He goes beyond the call of duty to keep us happy and comfortable. So does our manager, Angie. I’ve lived here for 11years and she is the best. Very happy with both of them. Very reliable!

I have lived here for a little over a month now and honestly I can say it’s been a dream come true. Angie is such a great landlord and Chuck the maintenance guy is top notch and doesn’t hesitate to get things taken care of. Plus friendly neighbors.

I have been at Westwood for one year. Angie the property manager has gone above and beyond in accommodating me With my health issues. She genuinely cares about her tennants, and is a rock star. Chuck the new maintenance guy also amazing takes care of everything quickly and professionally. I definitely recommend this place. Rent is a fair price also.

I have been living here for a little over 2 months. I like the apartment and the location is great, but the most important thing is the management.
The manager (Angie) is so nice and cooperative with us and is always welling to help and to offer quick solutions to solve any issues.
And to be honest, I have met managers before in different apartment complex, but they were as smiley and inviting as she was and still is.

My toilet is broken and has been like this for the past 6 days they still haven’t fixed it and won’t pick up the phone and went to the office and still took them a whole day just to come and help

Lived here the past 2 years and have honestly not had any issues up until the last few weeks. Old management was awesome, new management is iffy. Maintenance is definitely NOT on top of everything. Have waiting almost 4 days to have a maintenance request fulfilled. I have loved living here but it has its ups & downs.

What can I say? This complex is AWESOME! My girlfriend and I lived in the Drake area for nearly 6 years. We decided we needed an affordable living upgrade in a safe area. To say the least, our expectations were BEYOND exceeded in all realms here at Westwood. The new manager of the properties, Angie, has clearly done her part to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living experience for everybody. Upon signing our lease, we were promised new carpet, full paint, and cabinet finishing. The unit looked AMAZING upon our move in. Maintenance is almost immediately on call when neccessary. The laundry machines are bluetooth compatible and work great. Parking is amazing. The best part is the location. Super safe and includes a bike trail/creek path within 300 yards of the units. We have a Target, Hyvee, Kum n Go, Dollar Tree, Ace, etc.all within 1-2 miles as well. Moving through covid was definitely a new experience, but my GF and I can ensure you all that your move into Westwood will not be regretted. We could not be happier with the convenience and passion Angie provided to us as we made our next upgrade in life. You will love it here!
