Whiskey Road Tavern & Grill reviews
18Food was phenomenal, the chicken and waffles ABSOLUTELY SCCCCCHLAPPED. Service from Makenna was as well outstanding, very engaged, personable, and ensured we were taken care of in a timely manner, would absolutely recommend!
We were in town and stopped by for a mid-afternoon late lunch. Wasn’t super busy so we were seated immediately. Ordered and the food was delivered quickly.
Waitress was nice, but a tiny bit aloof to us. Enough that I noticed it, but not enough to be a problem. Only real downside is that the restroom was not the cleanest.
Overall a nice experience with good food and we would eat there again.
Ate here for dinner. The food was not bad at all. It did take a little long to get our food and drinks. I imagine they are short staffed like everywhere. I had a salad and others at my table had chicken and waffles which was a large portion. I give 5 stars for food that blows my socks off. No complaints, but typical bar and grill type options and style.
Four of us had a glorious meal there right before closing on Tuesday night
Great food. Great service and a delightful evening!
Service is excellent, but the food falls short. I had the ahi tuna and was overcooked to a chief expectations. Make sure you get raw+ or it will be over cooked fish.
Prime rib was good, served to my preference. A different change of pace compared to other places nearby. The next door bar section has nice ambience for a group.
Loved the place, the food and the ambience! Interesting menu items too, and many good options for vegetarian meals!
Haven't been here in a while, was celebrating a friend's bday with a group of friends. The atmosphere was welcoming. The service was great, our waitress was very respectful and helpful. The food was delicious. Our group started off with the seared tuna and the south west eg roles. I ordered the ribeye with mushrooms and onions, the mac n cheese and a side salad. I've been waiting on having this ribeye for quite some time now, I was not disappointed. Will definitely be visiting again!
Never a bad experience at Whiskey Road! I love that they offer so many options for special diets.
Best pork tenderloin there is. Favorite food in the area. Tuna is amazing. The sauce… wixvnwkajxbalna
I've dined here multiple times. I've had lunch and supper here as well and the food is always great. The servers are friendly and the bartenders are great at coming up with drinks you may like. The price for a meal is a bit high. However, the portions are more than generous.
What a cool place to go in Cedar Falls/ Waterloo area.we met family and had a semi-private area and could actually talk to each other while we ate and drank.
They have one of the best menus, variety, etc. Tenderloin sandwiches are soo big you could split with a couple people.lol
Local beers and whiskey was amazing!
When finished, u can stroll the downtown area of cedar falls and enjoy more entertainment, or grab chair at a local outdoor cafe/ and watch the people. I'm going back for sure!
If you want food that is bland and salt less come here. Had the wagyu burger it was tinder but bland same for the French onion I had on the side
Loved our stop here for drinks & appetizers! The outdoor seating was so enjoyable! We will be back for a meal sometime soon!
Love this place. Always get great service and the food is fantastic! I normally don't eat everything on my plate, but I do when I come here. EXCELLENT!
Good to a very long time to get. My daughters' salad wasn't good as the lettuce seemed expired.
The chicken and waffles at Whiskey Road is the best dish in town. I don't know how they make waffles that delicious and chicken that crispy and light.
Well done!
