I have been going to Woodland vet, well I should say my animals go there:), for 9 years. They have always provided the best care to them and willing to take calls or squeeze appointments in for urgent needs. It’s off the beaten path but it’s a worth the drive.

Took my puppy Tucker there today for his first time. He is a Border Collie so you know they can be timid. The techs were amazing with him, giving him bunches of love and treats during the whole visit. Honestly, I don't even think he realized he was getting needles stuck in him. Lol. It was a great experience and Susan gave me some great advice about food and obedience classes. Would highly recommend this place. Tuck and I will see them again soon.

My first experience with WLV was about 10 years ago when my 10 week old needed emergency surgery.
I was happy they could see her, yet appauled by tge condition of both tge office and surgical room.
The partitions in the office.were.covered in urine stains.
The fish take, with fish, was filthy dirty, and on a few different occasions her kids would run through the office with dirt Bare feet.
The puppy I spoke of above was having surgery while the local I door outdoor cats walked all over the surgery table and counter tops.
From then on I chose to use her for vaccines and euthanasia.

I called her for an appointment the other day and she basically said she won't see me. When I asked why, her response was a total lie.
I was told that I missed to many appointments. I asked what she was talking about and she told me that we had spoke about this before?
With? I do t miss appointments.
The only way that would happen is if it was emergent and I HAD to get treatment else where.
Then she said that they know I have several vets.
True, 1 vet I have had for 30nyears that I use for OFA digital radiology, something she doesn't offer.
Yes, I used La Porte vet.when I lived in LA Porte.
And finally I used Independence when WVC couldn't see us

So basically I don't care about her not wanting to provide.services to me and my dogs, but don't fricken lie on me about it.

I basically used her services that fit her professional capacity, vaccines and eurhanazia.

I would take my money else where
There are plenty rock star vets out there

Dr Schares and staff are very caring to both the family and the furbabies of the family. She goes above and beyond to explain the problem and the solution. The staff is very gentle with handling your furry family members.

I’ve brought my farm cats here and had great experiences and all of them had quick and easy recoveries! I would definitely recommend this local vet:) I had a cat a couple months back who had a hernia from giving birth and she’s doing great! She’s been able to gain nearly double her weight from before. Just a month ago i had my male cat get into a fight with a very bad dinged up ear and he’s already healed! I love the service and quality they give.

The most caring and compassionate vet around! Absolutely phenomenal even on the hardest of days.

They took excellent care of my cat. He had to have a little surgery on his eye. Kept me informed and what to do when he got home.

My cat who is name Ranger had surgery because he keeps getting stones and infections when going pee, brought him home today and wow. Ranger won't have problems going pee any more. Thank you to th Dr and staff. The prices are awesome compare to the cedar Valley. If you're looking for a Great doctor and awesome staff give this Veterinary a try you won't be disappointed.

Haven't been here before, they seem knowledgeable enough in their field. The girl behind the counter was kind of indifferent to me. I guess I make people uneasy, apparently. But the vet and her assistant did very well with their handling of mom's cat. He hurt himself, somehow trying to take his collar off by himself. He managed to get it off and in the process managed to not only fracture a bone, but got an infection that almost lost a life over. Down to 7, but that's a whole other story.
Now and for 5 more days I have to force feed him antibiotics, so he can live another 5,10 years as an old man cat. His name is Tigger, he just turn 10 years old. He's a cool cat for sure.

Been going there for years and they are great people. Very good at what they do and very good with our dogs.

I don't think I have ever had a worst experience I cannot believe this place has this many positive reviews. My dog had a simple dental cleaning and it is possibly killing him at this minute and we lost the cat here not too long ago as well and they gave me hope that all these extra things that they were doing of course costing a lot of money would save my animals. I've been waiting here with my dog that's having seizures and is severely dehydrated and I don't know if it's going to live or die. Be warned I will never step foot here again

Sue is smart as a whip and I trust every single living creature to her and her staff's care. Fantastic people.

They always take great care of my dogs. Hamlet required a major leg surgery a few years ago and still loves to come visit the ladies here. They do fantastic work at affordable rates!

Our cat had a seizure and our vet couldn't get her in. We called 15 mins before closing and they told us to bring her right in. So appreciated!
