10I used to go swimming and basketball and running around track when I was in special Olympics it's a good place
It was nice going there for a while but the snippy attitudes of the older somewhat elderly generation of women that go to the lap pool and therapy pool became so ridiculously off putting that I didn't want my family to continue with our membership.
One stop fitness center with salt water olympic size pool, a warm therapy pool with assist bars and a hot tub. Also has wet and dry saunas, lots of activities and an upper level suspended track. 7 stationary bikes, 5 treadmills, 4 elliptical, 2 row machines, 3 stairsteppers for cardio, and free weights galore. This place is the best!
I enjoy the Y a lot it's big and clean and fun to go to. The therapy pool and jacuzzi have really helped my joints after my workout.
Love this place, Went their for a army workout with a friend of mine and I have never seen a YMCA so amazing and huge as this one just love this place amazing and well good looking place, Locker rooms are good clean and very good standard.
An amazing facility for North Central Iowa, truly splendid! It offerings and size can easily compare to such facilities in large metropolitan areas. The Y's leadership and staff are very knowledgeable, kind, and professional. Mason City is quite genuinely fortunate to have the Y - such a great asset.
I love the Y plus I love to swim. However right now I'm technically just doing pool therapy at the moment but I also enjoyed the jacuzzi! People there are very nice!
W have been members for 15yrs. We go 5 days a week. Same time same people just like a family to us we love it. My wife likes to swim i like lifting weight. We do boot camp with Megan and she's a sweetheart
The heated pool is AMAZING, I have alot of back pain. I look forward to ALL of my psycal therapy visits.
I highly recommend it to anyone with pain issues.
