Jeff and his team were fantastic to work with-they did a full remodel of our first floor in an old (1900) house. They removed a load bearing wall, installed a steam beam and did all the finishes. They were also great at trouble shooting and problem solving. They made great recommendations to enhance the architect design including how we could add skylights, remove plaster to add insulation and create deep window sills. We couldn’t be happier with the space! We have recommended him to friends and are looking forward to using them again in the future.

They did a great job remodeling my garage. Quick, great communication, professional quality.

As an architect, I am selective with work done at my home and highly recommend Hinsford Building & Remodeling. Jeff and his crew have performed multiple projects at my house and we have worked together on many other residential and commercial projects. They are attentive to detail and strive for client satisfaction throughout the construction process.

We used HBR to handle the majority of our kitchen and living room renovations. They removed two load bearing walls, added beams, and relocated our kitchen hookups to the other side of floor. Jack was able to come over the day after reaching out to take measurements and go over any questions and concerns we had. Jeff had his crew over within a month to start work. HBR was able to accommodate our changes throughout the process to best of their ability or recommend alternate solutions. I would highly recommend HBR for home renovations.

Jeff and the team from Hinsford built an amazing porch onto our family home in Newport. We've renovated several houses in this area and our experience with Hinsford was unparalleled. The cost and timing were right, the quality of the work was exemplary, and the guys who did it were courteous and professional. I can't say enough about the effort that the guys put in; shout out to Big Eric, Moises, Mike and Little Eric (who's about the same size as Big Eric, but that's beside the point). Going forward Hinsford will be my first call for any and all upgrades/maintenance to this house and our rental properties. Contractors like this are few and far between.

Full of lies. Do not trust what they say because it is not what they do. If you choose this as your help, good luck. Mine as well do it yourself, or call somebody else. Tried getting them out to do a simple inspection to only find out that the day they were supposed to come, they were camping instead. I was "all kinked up" in Jeff's own words. Andy is just a snake who never answers his phone.

Context to his comment. Jeff was camping and completely forgot about me. I HAD TO CALL HIM TO SEE WHERE HE WAS.

He contacted me once after to only ask to take this post down. He didn't try to reschedule. He simply told me he did not have time for me, and he was all booked up. He could have redeemed his reputation before I had posted this, but unfortunately, bad publicity gets his attention. Hence why he feels this review is unjust. If you can not simply start a job off on the right foot, by simply showing up when you say you would, then how can you expect a great experience? Time is money to everyone, and taking off work just to be told, "My bad, i forgot, " just doesn't cut it.

I'm a professional, and I would NEVER make my customers feel unimportant and insignificant. Then sprinkle in that they were wrong? Good move, Jeff. People will love to read this, count those likes! #BACKFIRE

I used Hinsford to demolish one of my old bathrooms. They did a very fine job, were professional and courteous, and got the job done within budget.

I've been doing home rehab myself for over 30 years, but these days I need a little extra help. Demo jobs can be very messy and hard to get right or to meet expectations.

But the guys who did my job did it very well, old drywall was cut out along straight, clean lines (to make finish job better/easier/more affordable) and at the end they were able to haul away all the waste. They cleaned up the site exceeding my expectations.
