Iron Rooster- Annapolis

While in Annapolis on a work trip I stopped by the Iron Rooster for dinner. I did make reservations and found a table easily. The satff was welcoming amd friendly and the facilities where taken care of. I am from Michigan and enjoy the feel of the Heritage of the east coast. I'll be back for another homemade pop tart!

So I have the breakfast and my husband got the steak with cabbage and mashed potatoes! They were both GREAT! We also got the chorizo, Mac and cheese bites! I could have eaten those till I gaged! The dessert was a "pop tart". But much much better!

Iron Rooster is a go to in Annapolis! They love and take great care of our Midshipmen! Food is delicious and takeout was fast!

My favorite place in downtown Annapolis. Get some eggs Benny, a mimosa, a Roostart. Shout out to Vickie, Carl, and Brennan for the best eats in Naptown.

It had nice atmosphere. They were taking covid precautions. And the chicken and waffles with white pepper gravy was delicious.

Took my wife here for our anniversary as her favorite food group is breakfast!
We got the strawberry cheesecake pop tart and it was amazing and HUGE.
The chicken sandwich was great and the fries were fresh.

Best Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's we have had. So much so we are going back tomorrow.

This visit was disappointing compared to previous visits. It almost appears they have a new chef, because the food seemed slightly bland compared to memory. Also, the wait staff seemed relatively new and was definitely not on point. This spot is still worth a visit in annapolis, but I can no longer claim the best breakfast.

Went for breakfast during the boat show. Had a basic egg bacon pancake meal and a California club omlette. Heard rave reviews about the chicken and waffles though. Will need to go back during the next boat show to test that theory!

Fantastic chicken & waffles. Chicken was fresh, flavoful, & crispy. The waffles were rich & sweet. I would recommend it with the gravy on top with hot sauce. You do not need the syrup for the waffles since they are made sweet.

Astonishingly wonderful, prompt, kind service! There were a couple of errors in our order, quickly remedied. Delicious food. The restaurant was so clean and pleasant as well. Really glad we picked here for lunch for our large group.

Me and a lovely young lady I had just met" Ms Amanda" enjoyed sitting at the bar for a late breakfast. Our bartender/ waitress what's wonderful and very funny. We exchanged Donald Duck voices together causing my breakfast companion to crack up. I will always have a fond memory of this place even though I haven't been very often over the years. Food was great, service was fantastic. Thank you

It was busy for the boat show and the service did their best they could to be efficient and friendly. However sone of the food was on the lower level of good quality. Both patty melts were greasy in a way that is just carelessness and not an accident. Meanwhile the other items that were ordered were decently edible, no complaints on them. Just the patty melts.

The most phenomenal food and service. Can't say enough good things. Definitely will be back!

Great place to eat! We are visiting from Florida and we were looking for a place to have lunch that was not a chain restaurant and Iron Rooster was great! Great food and atmosphere. Service was excellent and they even had options for my gluten free allergies! If you are at the Annapolis waterfront historical area this is a must place to eat, will not regret!

Chicken and Waffles are off the chain! I love to sit at the bar, but the whole place is great

Went here with my family during the Annapolis boat show. We all ordered our food. They had forgotten my burger when they brought everyone else’s food out. She came back 5 minutes later with my burger and fries. My burger was RAW and cold. The waitress never apologized and I asked to speak with the manager.the manager came over and stated an apology that the waitress should have never even brought it out. Absolutely disgusting
