STAY AWAY AT ALL COST. They do not answer the phone. I've been in pain for months to get a tooth extraction. The day on my appointment they call me to cancel and tells me the oral surgeon chose not todo my procedure. Been waiting in pain for months to get my procedure and now I have to wait more months in pain to find help elsewhere. If you're an adult stay away!

I've been taking my son here pretty much all his life. I've never had an issue or disagreement here. Not saying that it doesn't happen, but I've never experience one. The staff is always friendly, maybe a little preoccupied & overwhelmed, but friendly. I always see the staff cleaning and wiping down the chair and equipment. I would recommend if you live in the area.

This place is ghetto! Patterson park, Broadway and the old one on the Alameda. Been this way since Cool Smiles. The workers are normally ratchet as well. It’s like you hire the lowest class people to work here for the least pay.

I absolutely do not appreciate the service. My twins appointment was at 10am. It is now 11: 58. We have not been seen as of yet. Everytime we come to this location this is what we go through. The staff is very pleasant and friendly, however the service stinks. As of now we are in the back but still waiting! I am definitely going to find another dental office to go to.

No one answers the phone at ALL. I've been waiting for them to send over my prescription over to my pharmacy on MONDAY it is currently SATURDAY! If yall aren't going to do your job quit

Everytime I call to try and make an appointment no one ever answers the phone and everytime I leave a voicemail no one ever returns my calls! Very unprofessional!

I have been calling every hour and can't get a response. I scheduled an appointment for 4 pm last week. They day before my appointment someone calls to confirm but confirms for 3 pm. When I realized it should be 4 pm I tried calling back for the rest of the evening. Now I wake up on the day of my appointment and my text says my appointment is now at 330pm. I am not sure what is happening but I can't get a call in for the life of me. I think I will pass. I never seen a company not answer their phones over the course of 4 hours. And based on the reviews I may as well not waste my time.

My son came in for teeth cleaning and the dentist put holes in his gums! Gums are sore and bleeding where she poked holes at! Where is the care and professionalism Poor service.

Every time I try to call to make appointment, no one answers the phone. Only thing pops up is the voicemail even when I took my granddaughter to another dentist to get information from port, a Dental, neither one of us could get through the other dental office for myself. It is sad that they had the nerve to change their name from Kool Smiles to port a Dental it has gotten worse you go there for any other appointment. You sit there over two hours before you’re done there I would like to speak to someone in that office or above their head so that they can pop up there and see what they do there in the office because no one answers the phone try it out yourself

I had a very good experience at the porter dental office at 1900 Broadway. The gentleman that checked me and my son in was very pleasant. I especially want to give a shout out to Ms. Donae and Ms. Margaret. Ms. Donae was very patient with my son and made him feel extremely comfortable although he was so nervous to come to the dentist. Ms. Margaret did a good job of explaining to my son how to brush his teeth and floss. My overall experience was a 5/5.

This is specifically for Ransom Lynch at 1900 north broadway. I have been coming to this facility for the last 10 years. He is the ONLY one who is always helpful, attentive, communicative and ALWAYS goes the extra mile. I am in senior management at MTA and he is the best employee you have! If he ever leaves, all 6 of my family members and friends will go elsewhere! Please, please give him all of the raises, promotions, and any accolades you can give him because he deserves everything great thing you have to offer your employees. The staff is very helpful, caring and supportive. I arrived a few minutes late due to other reasons, they did everything possible to accommodate me to make sure the oral surgery was completed. They were very understanding. I will recommend the Broadway location to other family members and friends because I’m confident they will receive the same outstanding services I’ve received. Not to mention I was referred by another friend who also received the same hospitality. Thanks again Portal Dental for the opportunity to be a patient in your care.

Front desk DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE, I had to go in-person just to make an appointment, it's sad it will be 3 or more people sitting at the desk but no answer the phone WHY JUST WHY? I HATE THIS OFFICE AND I ONLY CAME HERE BECAUSE EASTPOINT LOCATION didn't have a sooner appointment.

Find another location to go to. Very unprofessional front desk. They will call you and leave voicemails to confirm appointments. Yet they refuse to answer direct calls when you call them back, so they can cancel your weekend appointments and leave early. Too many child friendly practices around to tolerate this.

I was never seen. (Broadway office) The kids were running around unsupervised by their parents. My appointment was for ten, I left at 11: 15 because I hadn’t been called to even be registered. Front desk staff was busy discussing their lives and plans. I’ll never go back!

I had an appointment scheduled for 4pm they rescheduled me because of my age. Then I get there they had me sign a paper saying I have to come out of pocket of $25 dollars for something my insurance pay for. They couldn’t even explain it to me. I guess when you pregnant they treat you different cause I never had once to pay my I have 0$ co pay for dental. But I guess cause I’m pregnant they want to charge. Not only that they unprofessional they don’t greet at all. Had me waiting an hour and 30 minutes to get seen. My appointment was before others and they seen the first and I was only coming for a dental hygiene check up. I don’t recommend this location I been coming here over a decade
