Cocina Del Barrio reviews
13Great modern Mexican spot in downtown Edina. The chips were accompanied by 3 salsas, each with a unique taste. The wood grilled chicken was cooked to perfection. The guacamole was too heavy in garlic and salt. Other than that, a positive dining experience.
Great tacos, fast service, and very nice atmosphere. Service was fast and we were seated in no time at all!
Service was grear but food was bad. Wood grilled chicken was hard in texture, beans was not cooked properly and rice that comes on the side is just plain white rice with no flavor, even Tacos were disappointing. Felt like the food was rushed out in a hurry before cooking it completely. Even the chips were very hard. Guacamole and yucca fries were good.
Drinks and food were great. And the waiter was very friendly and on top of things. We would definitely go ba back.
Steak tacos were pretty good. Service was EXTREMELY slow! We sat outside and no one was there so really no excuse. They kind of forgot about us. No water refills. The waiter kept telling us he was bringing our chips and salsa and they finally showed up after we were done with our tacos.
Great food. Amazing atmosphere. Service felt short and a little rushed for being a slow night. Good experience all around, will definitely come back.
Food was ok, not great. Beat salad came on a plate that was hot out of the dishwasher and salad was warm! Steak burrito was ok but skimpy. Restaurant was extremely loud. Food came quickly and staff was good. I’d suggest a team meeting to evaluate the food serving.
Hoping they bring back a Happy Hour menu soon! The food and drinks are really good, just a bit more spendy than I'd like.
If you want to truly experience Barrio, go to the one in downtown Mpls or St. Paul. The menu and quality are better and I highly recommend them!
Our server Tatum was so friendly and professional and the beef tenderloin small plate was delicious!
The service was a bit slow but I believe when their staff is at 100% it will be worth the money. Corn soap was OK but the Barbacoa street taco was amazing.
Our sever Hannah absolutely killed it we had a table of 3 and her drink and menu knowledge was super helpful fast and friendly service we will DEFINITELY be back to this location amazing food and service very fun environment!
What a fantastic meal with fabulous cocktails, a fun atmosphere and amazing service! Ask for Marq to be your waiter.
