A great location, with personable and invested customer service. Caitlin was personable and knowledgeable. She was able to help decipher what I was searching for in a look and explain terminology and how it was going to come together. I had a great experience here!

So.i normally don’t post reviews for places unless they’re outstanding. Unfortunately this time my experience was outstandingly bad. I went in for a hair cut as my hair was getting a bit too long for my liking and It was gonna be my birthday the next day. I thought i’d treat myself and get a trim. I asked for a little length taken off with layers and i showed my hair dresser multiple pictures of what i wanted just so we were on the same page. I already felt uneasy when the hair dresser never bothered to part my hair. The whole time she was guessing the length and didn’t bother with symmetry at all. To no surprise, my hair came out extremely choppy, uneven, and short. I’m extremely disappointed and i’m gonna have to wear a hat until it grows out.

Great pulled pork sandwich, fries excellent as usual. Always good food and service at Maverick's.one of my faves!

I made an appointment the night before. They stylist listened to my needs and took her time to fix the cut I had gotten at a chain salon the week before.
I don't have the budget to regularly go to a private salon. I felt like I was well cared for here, and it was still affordable.
I highly recommend!

Lisa was absolutely amazing and helped figure out how the cut I wanted would look best on my actual head. Already booked my next appointment!

I highly recommend seeing the stylist Honda! She is the sweetest and will be able to transform your hair to give you the biggest confidence booster ever! She also works with all types of hair (I am biracial and have thick curly hair) so you don’t have to worry (:

So impressed! I was a bit nervous to go to a new salon but my haircut here was absolutely wonderful! Caitlin was so nice and made sure to explain what she was doing each step of the way. Absolutely thrilled with my new haircut.

Appt was set for 12: 30pm and was told to come 10 min early so I came at 12: 15pm. I didn't get seated until 1: 15pm and they kept taking clients before me that just got here.unprofessional, and rude. No apology about the wait or discount. Won't be back to this location.

I visited the 3833 Lexington Ave N #107, Arden Hills, MN 55126 location on October 4. The stylist named Yolanda was doing my hair. She discussed with me what I was looking for in detail and seemed like she understood. She then made paperwork’s and told me it was going to be $141 for haircut and full foil. I signed the papers and she started working. After she had already shampooed my hair, she came back with the papers and asked me to sign on a new bill that was $178 and she said it’s because she forgot to add something. It’s such an old and unethical tactic to get more money, especially after she was bragging to me the entire time that she’s been in the industry for 40 years. Anyway, I signed the new papers because I didn’t want to create a fuss. Afterwards, while shampooing my hair, she spilled water all over me and my phone and when I moved because it was startling, she yelled at me to stop moving. After she was done with the foils and cut, my hair looked horrible! I had asked for a few inches off, but she chopped off 7-8 inches, and the highlights were bulky on top of my head and barely anything on the sides. It looked awful. She asked me if I liked it, and then proceeded to get defensive and yelled at me again when I said I think it looks weird to have a bulky colored spot on top of my head when it’s supposed to be evenly spread out. She was very intimidated and I am not a fan of confrontation so I silently paid and left. This was my first time visiting Fantastic Sam’s and after paying close to $200, I’m stuck with terrible hair and bitterness. I won’t be visiting again.

I had a horrible haircut done at a different location. I came here to have it fixed and Tina did a great job. She fixed me up so quickly and didn't even charge me. Absolutely fantastic and I will be back! Thank you Tina!

Every stylist we have used at this Fantastic Sams location has been excellent! We have always been very happy with our cuts here!

25 bucks for a mens hair cut is highway robbery! I can shave my own head for 25 bucks. First time back since covid and last time back!

I loved Kelsey! She did an amazing job on my hair, and took her time to make sure I liked it. I’m completely obsessed with my new hair thanks to her!

Terrible I've never had a worse hair cut! TINA did not listen to the way I wanted my hair cut, proceeded anyways then decided to cut my beard down to the skin next to my ear! Then started to trim down the rest of my cheek! Long hair left scattered throughout my head. I will never return to this shop! Oh and the only reason I went here is so I could get a nice hair cut for my anniversary dinner tonight.

Tina always takes care of my hair and takes the special pride in getting my foils just right, and if it's not right she'll fix it

Christi was my stylist and she did amazing i went in with orange hair and came out with a beautiful dark brown with blue, purple and teal peekabooing through. I absolutely love it!

I stopped by here for the first time to get a haircut. Yolanda did a great job, she was very friendly, & the atmosphere was great. I will definitely schedule my next appointment here! Thank you guys:)
