Fantastic Sams Cut & Color, Anoka MN

I had an unfortunate accident that left my hair matted, Alicia spent over 5 hours with me detangling/unknotting my hair. She was so gentle and thorough. She finished with a wash, deep conditioning and a cut. When I say I felt/feel like a new woman, I truly mean it. While I was there I noticed how well the other employees worked with their clients, sweet and fun with the kids and easy going work everyone else. I’ll definitely be going back, you’re in great hands here!

I accidentally made an appointment at another location, but this one got me in right away. Friendly and helpful staff. Great customer service!

I had a very bad experience with the stylists here. I will never go back to this salon again.

Horrible experience.i was just in here and i had an appointment for 1: 35.we showed up at 1: 10 and they told us 20 minutes so around our scheduled time.it is now 2: 00 and everyone was going on lunch break while i was still sitting waiting for my hair to be done.they were bickering about who was going to do my hair.i’m not going to let someone do my hair that doesn’t want to or doesn’t have time.and all i needed was a trim.so i got up and left.do not recommend going here.

Had the most horrible experience today. I have an odd shift and was not sure I could get in to a barber which I feel way more comfortable but I thought if they say they can do it, it will be fine! Nope! You know what they say about assuming! Went in and got my fat hawk destroyed! No blend, just a straight hard line on the sides of my head to the point in the back.point in the back wasn’t even symmetrical. No attempt even to make it look nice. I wish I would have never made an appointment and went to here. Seriously, the worst experience I have ever had getting my hair cut at any establishment. I paid for the cut but wish I never had and ended up spending the most I ever have on a cut and a fix cut! Unless you are female and have long hair, stay away! You will thank me later! This is not a men’s grooming establishment by any means!

Esper was great! I went in for a shampoo and blow out. It’s my birthday and I woke up down in the dumps. My husband was taking me to dinner and doing my hair felt like a huge task. I was able to get in quickly and Esper was great. She turned my mood around! She even gave me a quick trim to be sure my blow out looked as good as possible. She took her time on the blow out, added some curls and it looked so good! I may have to come back for a full cut and color!

This has become the only place I go to, Shae is simply the best! She listens to what I want, is fast and has a great personality! Even when its been over a year between appointments, she still remembers who you are and what you want.

Casey did a fantastic job on my haircut, trim. Very knowledgeable and talented. Efficient and so friendly!

Was just in today for a haircut thinking it would be a better place then i normally go, all i have to say is i am greatly disappointed.the lady cutting my hair was very careless and disrespectful with the way she handled my head.i mean who keeps bashing the razor agains the bump on the back of someone’s head and leaning into the chair when moving it? Not to mention not even blowing out my hair afterwards? Terrible service.i even had to fix my hair when i got home because the front had over a 1 inch difference in length.highly recommend finding a better place than here.very very very disappointed.

Lupe is super nice and sweet. She had a smile on her face the entire time I got my haircut & style. It’s so refreshing. She did a great job and I will be back. Thank you

Lupe is fantastic! She is one of the best stylists I've had in long time. She pays attention to details and has good conversations. Will definitely be back!

I am a loyal customer of the Anoka Fantastic Sams. All the stylists are excellent but Esper does a fantastic job and her personality and customer service is A +. Keep up the great work.

Unfortunately I do not remember that nice girl that did my updo (she did have long black hair) but I'm definitely going back to get my hair done again or even cut! She was super nice and flexible with what I wanted!

Update February 2022: Lupe gave me a haircut and she was very sweet, knowledgeable, and offered great feedbacks in caring for my hair. Will request for her again! Comment below was from a few years ago

She was nice and very talkative with my 9 year old. She talked and asked my daughter questions, not me. I liked that.
