I recently started going to foreign lengths to get my hair done, as the lady who has been doing my sew in for the last 10 years, moved to ATL. I usually get my hair bundles from them and they have ALWAYS been amazing! So I figured why not try the salon on Broadway in Minneapolis. I was extremely nervous because we all know we have a specific way we want our hair and I was scared I wasnt going to get that. Today was the 2nd time I went to the salon, so needless to say, if I came back it was good, wait not only good.its PERFECT. My stylist is Mickey and she is always on time, I am in and out so I'm not sitting there for 5 or 6 hours, very professional and most importantly.my head does not hurt! It is tight but NOT PAINFUL. I am scheduling my daughters appointment next. Thanks Mickey.

I am never going back to this salon. I set up an appointment last week to get waist length box braids. I come in for my appointment and I was told that it was going to be 2 hour wait for me to get my hair done. Mind you they had my phone number and refused to call me knowing that it was going to take that long to finish their client. So I leave to get my nails done and 20 minutes later they call me initially asking if I can come at 8: 00 p.m. 4 hours after my initial appointment and then later on tell me that I had to reschedule for the following day. Now because my schedule won't allow that and this was the only day I had free (which I expressed to them) when I went back to grab my deposit. The stylist never spoke to me or was even remotely apologetic. The girl upfront seemed at least semi-apologetic. Extremely unprofessional and overpriced luckily I was able to find another person to braid my hair for $30 less.

Came in with healthy hair and came back out with damaged hair. This place was the worst experiences I have EVER encountered! The owner was so rude and “ghetto” I would NEVER recommend! And will never come back here to this place.

I only go to Savannah to get my wigs made and I dont have one issue. I never really paid attention to any other stylist because Savannah and I will be having our own conversation. So if you go ask for Savannah.

Tasjah is awesome! She’s young and soft spoken but very knowledgeable and professional. She’s also quick and true to her pricing. However, I didn’t care for the language used by other stylist in the shop. They may want to be mindful of what they say when clients are in.

I get my hair done by Savanna she does an excellent job with my hair! I love the fact that she is prompt and always on time. I’ve never had to wait past my appointment time! I would recommend Savanna she is very professional and respectful. I have observed the other beauticians and I have nothing but good things to say about them. You all do a good job and are very professional and the shop is always clean.

I should’ve read the reviews before I even went there. I had a 3 o’clock appointment, on Valentine’s Day with Tashi. Yes I acknowledge the fact that it was kind of last minute but I also let them know I had to be done by 5: 30 When I called to make the appointment. (I had reservations at 6 For the past three months) I ended up having to cancel my reservations because the stylist didn’t HAVE SOMEONE ELSE start until 5: 30. She kept saying someone was going to start my braids and they never started. Until finally at 5: 30. It looked good when I was in the mirror until the next morning (today) I realized my tracks were so loose I could stick multiple fingers through them and a few of them are literally hanging by a thread in the back AND both sides of my head. If I could put a picture up I would. I paid $135 because I gave her a $10 tip even though she was late and I’m just that type of person. But now I’m regretting that and I’m really upset. Honestly I really don’t even want to go back there for them to tighten my hair because I can already feel myself having an attitude stepping foot in that door, Because she knows what she did rush through my head so she can get her own hair done which she was talking about In the middle of her answering calls and text messages on her phone after I had already waited 2 1/2 hours. I’m still currently waiting on a confirmation text of the time I can come get my weave tightened. (which is funny to me because it can’t be because she is doing hair cause she sure was on her phone when she was doing mine) I will let it be known everywhere not to ever ever ever go to that salon.
