1400 Russell Apartments, St. Louis MO

Pros: Aurdie is amazing, he watches out for all of his residents and goes above and beyond for them. 10 stars for Aurdie.

Cons: 0 stars for Amanda and Crystal. They are very difficult to deal with. I was sitting on my balcony and the dog above my apartment peed on me. Amanda blamed me and told me it was my fault. My furniture on the balcony reeked of dog urine and Amanda said there wasn't anything she could do. She refused to ask the neighbor above me to stop letting her dog pee on the balcony. The dog park has loads of pet waste. People will step in it and drag it through the building, it's unsanitary and they won't do anything about it. I brought it to their attention and they were like Crystal has a poor attitude and is unpleasant to interact with.

Staying here has been a great experience. Aurdie is the real MVP when comes to making sure you feel welcomed.

I’m going into my second year living here and it’s been great! Management, maintenance and security are all super helpful and responsive. Aurdie is the best and goes out of his way to make everyone feel safe and at home!

I’ve recently visited 1400 Russell Apartments and have nothing but positive things to say about the community from the security staff, friendly tenants, amenities, location, and more!

I was a guest of my son at 1400. The moment I arrived from out of town I was welcomed by security. Mr Aurdie couldn't have been more helpful.

My son has access on property to a nice gym with weights and cardio equipment. Dog wash and walk area. Rooftop pool and main level courtyard with hot tub. Great for people of all ages. Including this retired Mom. (No parties or slamming doors.)
The building is in a perfect location when living in the Soulard neighborhood. Several restaurants within walking distance.

I contemplated for years on wether i should write a review abt 1400 Russell, but hey why not, I’ve been a tenant there & also worked there since the beginning & even til this present day, I absolutely love it there, they have the best amenities, including a Rooftop pool, Lounge Area, nice Gym, HotTub, a coffee machine that produce, fresh coffee, Hot Chocolate & Tea all day, tenant functions, & also concierge service that drop your packages off to your front door, & plenty more to name even a very nice pet spa! … The staff is GREAT, Amanda really goes above & beyond for the tenants as well as the staff & vendors as well & for myself I always want to provide the best experience for every tenant, their families & friends, me & Amanda always speak abt things that we can do to always make things better & better, 1400 apartments & the people who’ve came through them have really changed my life for the better, so i decided to thanks you all on my review, …all the great reviews that u all have left me & the staff here, we all greatly appreciate it

I've been living at 1400 for over a year now. The place has a great community. The amenities such as the pool, hot tub, and weightroom are all kept up to great standards and are super clean. They have great monthly gatherings for all of us here. Security is top tier, and the parking garage is amazing for security of your personal vehicle, golf cart or bike. Management is super friendly and I don't see myself leaving for a long time.

Been here practically 2 years. I have zero complaints. The management is great and the security is even better. They really go above and beyond to make the tenants feel like we live in our own small community.

Great apartment complex. No noise between apartments. Amenities are great and kept in good condition. Staff sets up events for residents frequently. Definitely would recommend to friends.

Management is responsive and on point. Aurdie and Amanda get everything done. This is a well run, professional building. Very few can say the same.

Great place to live! Next to everything and a staff that truly cares about you and your saftey! Awesome pool as well! Lived at 1400 for 3 in a half years now!

Where do I begin? !? ! I’ve lived at 1400 Russell for over 3 years and have loved every second of it! Amanda (property manager) and Aurdie (Security Lead/ Concierge) have truly made my experience unforgettable! I literally cannot see myself living anywhere else because I trust in the team here. Amanda and Aurdie care about you outside of just being looked at as a “resident “. Even with living in the city, I always feel safe in, and around the building and know the team has true concern for everyone’s safety! The Apartments themselves are amazing and I’ve lived in several units over my time here for different personal reasons. All of them are my favorite! If I didn’t have a growing family I would probably never leave! Thank you team soo much for all that you do! I seriously couldn’t thank you enough!

1400 Russell is a great apartment! I enjoyed living here for 2 years. The staff members are very helpful and made my time there a great experience. Aurdie is also a great person and will take care of you very well! 5 stars.

My boyfriend currently lives at 1400 Russell. I am over his apartment 4/7 days of the week, usually, mostly on weekends. The complex is nice, but the best part of frequenting in this Soulard complex is Aurdie. He goes above and beyond everyday and is always looking out for his tenants! He is best at making you feel safe, and most importantly, keeping you safe, inside and out of the complex. Not only that, he is always willing to give a helping hand no matter what it may be. I have had some first hand experiences! When he says he’s only a phone call away, he truly is. It’s amazing to know someone like Aurdie who has true passion and care in his day to day job and duties. Aurdie is one of the best! I am lucky to know him

Overall 1400 is a fine place to live! The staff make it very enjoyable. Aurdie provides a safe environment via his security services. He certainly takes care of the tenants and treats them fairly.
Amanda was also always very cordial and responsive to requests.
I would certainly move back if I found myself in Saint Louis again!
