Went there to catch the shuttle for the Cardinal game, got a few appetizers and a bucket of beers, our waitress Therese, what a great person, very nice, professional, friendly and an asset to this establishment… food was excellent… we have just found our shuttle family to the cardinal games. Thank you… Happy patron

Our 1st time here. We had a great time here! We had the fish sandwich, nachos, wings and pizza. All were very good. Service was great and friendly.

We stop by here for a ride to the cards games. 2 or 3 people serving the whole bar opening day and service was fast. I was impressed.

I am a Friday regular at the 1860. Always good food and the wait staff is very friendly. Their take on the French Dip using garlic cheese bread is fantastic. The Buffalo Chicken pizza has a wonderful sharp contrast with the blue cheese baked on.

Looked interesting on the outside. Went in the saloon and the service was polite and on top of their game. The food was delish. Will definitely be back. Oh the bathroom was clean & tidy also!

I recently moved to Soulard. 1860s is my favorite place! The food is typical bar food. They have many options, and so far I've liked everything I've ordered. One aspect I love about this bar is that there are 3 different levels. It gives you options. From my experience, the top level tends to have more of an older age group and/or people who are there for a meal. The middle level is my personal favorite, and often the younger age group hangs out in there. Then there is the lower level which is a bit quieter and often not as busy, but typically there is a mix of different age groups. However, the reason 1860s is my favorite is because the people that come around are very friendly and talkative. It's a neighborhood bar. I highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a snack or a good time.

Great drinks, food, and fun with tons of cool, friendly folks from the locally born and raised to the visitors from all around the world come here. This is only a brief description of the excitement you'll have here. Great selection of beers such as my favorite IPA's like Space Dust and Killian's Irish Red, or all the original greats, Anheuser-Busch freshly made me whistle wetters. It's a new, different, wonderful experience every time I go here, no matter what time of the year!

After a countless amount of Monday nights spent here, I figured it's time for a review. Service is awesome, they usually have interesting beers on tap and then all the standards bottled, and the food is tasty and always comes out fast. The live music is why we go, our friends play Mondays but they've got music every night of the year!

Wasn’t quite sure what to expect here. Looked like a local watering hole. The band was outstanding and entertaining. The chicken tenders were out this world. Juicy and delicious! Service was on top of it!

Food was horrible. Service was the same. Placed to go order for hot wings. Asked for my wings to be fried hard. Got all the way home for my wings to be undercooked. Also not fried hard. My mother called staff was so rude and ignorant. Basically told my mom she should've ordered the sauce on the side. Also tough sugar honey ice tea write a review if it was so bad. So here we are.

We go to this bar to shuttle to the Blues hockey game. Terrah is one of our favorite shuttle drivers. Not to mention the have a live music band up from most of the time, a game area in the middle, and a relaxed eating area in the back of the bar. This bar is the best 1 in 3 since my body wash.

Today, January 9th 2022, around 11: 30am I was looking for a quick bite to eat in the Soulard area and ran across this location. Walked in and I didn’t know the seating arrangements because I had a party of 5 so I asked was there any other tables than the area I was in. The server stated that there was more in the “front” but with it being my first time there I didn’t know the front back or middle of the location. So I asked the server behind the bar could we grab a seat and I guess she was tired of my 2 questions that I asked so she rolled her eyes and body language went completely left. So I decided to leave out and under her breath she mumbled “Good leave then”. If I could rate this location less than one star I would, but best believe I won’t be giving it a second chance. ~ J. G

I absolutely love 1860s. The vibe there is all around chill every age demographic and they serve the best food!

The live music ranges from absolutely incredible Elvis. Tribute Everett Dean to 4 non blondes to just about any amazing genre there Like Gene amazing bands or acoustic- or jazz and blues. Grab your dancing shoes or just whip on your tennis shoes and head on down to the corner of the best bars in St Louis.
Most shows are totally free and if you're not feeling the music you can always head down to the game room and have some fun with your friends
All love all accepting all supportive and just a good damn time. Five Arches out of five Arches

This is one of my favorite bars to go to in St. Louis. There are 3 separate bar rooms and I have been to all 3. Each one has a different vibe and something for everyone! The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the drinks are always great, and the bartenders and friendly and fun! I definitely recommend this bar to basically anyone!

This place is crazy! I’ve been to many premium cocktail bars, and never in my life have I paid $20 dollars for a Hendricks martini. 12 dollars even at an exquisite cocktail lounge is top of the line but to see 20 dollars on the tab for a tiny martini was absolutely ridiculous, and no one could explain why that was so crazy. Three drinks sitting in lawn chairs inside a barn, for 65 bucks is pretty insane if you ask me. Make sure you inquire about prices before you get robbed blindly, not sure what kind of establishment this is, the server was fantastic though.

Decent place to go for food/drinks and live music. The service was a little slow, maybe due to a shortage in staff. We noticed that the bartender was multitasking between making drinks and waiting tables (which seems to be an issue everywhere) but we had a good time overall.

My friend and I went here before a Cards game on a Thursday (July 22). They were maybe 3/4 full. The waitress never came to the table to take our drink order. After about 15 minutes, we went to the bar to order drinks and the bartender refused to make them, made us wait for the waitress to make them. The waitress finally brought our drinks and menus, then she never came back to our table. Meanwhile, more and more people were leaving, the waitress closes their tickets and busses the tables. After another 15 minutes of being ignored, we went to the bar to pay and leave, the woman behind the bar asked how was everything. We let her know our waitress ignored us the entire time we were there. Her response was "Well, that happens sometimes. " This place was not busy, there was no legitimate reason for us to be ignored. They didn't like the way we looked, so they treated us badly. We ate at Salt 'N Smoke at Ballpark Village, far better experience. I'm sure I didn't miss anything from 1860. I've had dive bar food, it always disappoints. If you like gross bars with corresponding staff, this place is for you.

We found this place in walking distance of our airbnb. We were glad we stopped. The food, st louis style pizza and toasted ravioli, and drinks were very reasonable for a big city. We also had live music from a local artist who was great.
